Question 2012 Impreza Premium Brake Pad Recommendations

Hello,

Having a friend help me replace the rear pads and haven't done this before and he just asked that I purchase first. I was wondering what type of pads people recommend as I am seeing metallic, ceramic and hybrid. Anything particular work best for this model to minimize squeaking? Appreciate the help.

Cheers!

I am using Centric PosiQuiet pads on my 12 WRX with great results. I believe they are the same as stoptech since they share part #s.

Make sure to release the handbrake or the rear rotors wont come off. Learned the hard way

Centric Posi-quiet Ceramic pads grip well, last a long time, and don't produce much brake dust.
