![]() Hi, I’ve had my 2012 Impreza WRX for a while now and made some basic modifications (AOS, oil pickup and baffle, cylinder 4 cooling mod, etc.) to it, but I’ve been hearing a noise for the last few months that has been stressing me out.
It mainly happens when the car is sitting or rolling at low speeds in neutral, and it seems to be coming from just past the driver’s footwell. I haven’t been able to hear it from the outside of the car yet, but I did manage to take a video of it from the driver’s footwell, which I have provided a link to below. I already checked the coolant hoses (there MIGHT be a small coolant leak near the upper coolant reservoir), bled the coolant, and inspected the steering components, but it’s been hard to pinpoint the source of the sound because it does not occur all of the time. I would greatly appreciate any advice, suggestions, or comments. Here is the video of the sound: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1eTa6GnXa13uSO-ra9GoOKaU2_HVQVDnY/view?usp=drivesdk
