They're meant to fit on an mk2 golf. Required extensive modification to the rear flares to make them work. Got mine from http://www.aptuning.com/index.php?pa...mart&Itemid=14

Yeah hopefully next weekend. Paint matching the flares, side skirts, and strakes. May do the front lip, not sure yet.

Are you a VW person too? I just got my first Subaru but have had 17 vws over the last 20 years. Ive only owned VWs til now. Hope you had fun.

also, I would like to remove the SUBARU badge from my 03 wagon. I assume its just stuck on letter by letter. So I can run some dental floss back there and remove it then polish it? I like the clean look of not having that big badge right in the middle of the hatch.
Thanks and great looking wagons everyone.

Love the outback one.

Shoulda recorded it! We had traffic all backed up and peoples jaws were on the ground. Couldn't believe a little car could pull anything out. My clutch smelled horrible after tho :/

haha. not sure. I guess we just get bored very quickly. Always looking for something different.

I did pull the SUBARU letters off my car last night. It looks so much nicer.
Thanks for the inspiration.

Thinking about doing this with my 05. Any problems with having the paint faded where the letters were?

I've been wanting to do it too, but I think after 10 years it'll be a mess under there.. Anyone know if the hatches with just the emblem are interchangeable? Mines all banged up anyway (walked out if work to find it like that, so pissed and nothing I could do)

It depends how much clear coat you have left. I did mine and at first thought I had pulled the clear off, turned out to just be 8 years worth of missed dirt which buffed out fine. Try one letter and see how it looks. It cleans up the hatch very nicely if possible

Ill do that. I think the dent is more noticeable with the lettering because you can tell letters are tilted
