Default Bay Area 93 Octane

Hi everyone,

Does anyone from the Bay Area (preferably South Bay) know where I can find good 93 octane gas, perhaps a Shell, etc...?

Thanks.

It's 91 octane or 100 octane racing gas. You won't find anything else in CA.
Perhaps someone else can chime in with some oddball gas station, but I think that's it.

Gas station on andrade & 680 in sunol sells 93,97,99,101. There is a 76 somewhere on the peninsula that sells 93+ as well

Hmm, the manual for my STi says to use 93 octane, so what do you guys use on your STi? Is Shell V-Power 91 octane a good alternative? Also, how is Sunol 93 for any of you guys using it on your STi?
Thanks again!

91 is fine for your car. The vast majority of stations in CA are 91 only. OP, don't sweat it, just use the 91. Just don't use regular 87. Even if you put 87 in by accident, just drive it like a grandma (stay off boost) until you can fill it up with 91 again.

Going all the way out to Sunol for gas is a bit much if you live on the peninsula.

Okay cool sounds good. Yeah I'll stick to 91 octane in that case. Thanks very much for you help!
