Burn 1L of 0w20 Syntec each 2500km (1500 miles) but love it
When I bought it : With tint and summer shoes : And for this winter with winter wheel and mud flap (RSSW cheap wheel and Nokian Hakkappeliitta 7): Last edited by Paradis; 11-02-2012 at 11:51 PM. |

Ready for winter
The winter shoes went on today. I decided to go with Michelin X-Ice Xi3's 205/55/R16 and used a set of steel wheels I had from my Forester's winter garb.
Here she is on Delivery Day two weeks ago: And here she is today with the new shoes. Please excuse the crappy plastic wheel covers: |

I like to leave clear part untinted, it makes the tint more subtle i think. But Wes's rear end makes a case for the other side.
Are you blacking out lights? Then Id do the whole thing. |

I'm just tinting with VHT Nite-Shades, nothing fancy. I'm planning to smoke them, I don't like/want them too dark. I think leaving the clear part untinted would be best. What about a progressive/two-toned tint? Where the clear part will be tinted ever so slightly and the remainder of the taillight being slightly darker?
