Default AccessPort and the 3/16ths mod

I've had my AP since June, and initially had it Stage 2/93 octane with full turboback. At this time I had the 3/16th mod in place, and the car war very fast.

Once outside temps began to fall (Chicago), I was getting boost spiking, especially with the economy map for commuting. Switched to the stock connector and boost smoothed out, but Stage 2 was no longer the power map it once was. Boost in 2nd and 3rd gear was .9 Bar, 1.05 in 3rd. With the 3/16ths mod, I was getting 1.1 Bar in 2nd-5th, with 4th being the new power gear on the freeway. I had the stock connector back on for about 6 weeks, ECU never learned to increase the duty cycle on the wastegate to make the boost levels I got with the 3/16ths mod.

Today I swiched back to the 3/16ths mod, power regained, life is good. Anyone else try stock vs. 3/16ths boost hose connectors? Are you making 1.1 bar in 2nd with the stock connector? I'd love to hear how you did if that's true.

I'm running the AP VF34 map, ran a best of 13.7 @ 99 with the standard map. Then I put the 3/16 mod in and ran a 13.3 @ 101.75 (making 1.15 bar). The car feels alot more responsive. Once I get a pump in, I'm going to play with different size brass resrtictors to get the boost up to 17.5 - 18psi. I'm going to dyno it to make sure the AF ratio is safe. Hopefully that'll get 12s outta it.
