Default dyno-comp tune, 237WHP/292WTQ!!

I want to thank Rich at dyno-comp for the excellant service, and outstanding results he got out of my wagon. Rich had my wagon on the dyno for over an hour and he came into the waiting room with a dyno plot showing 230whp and 285wtq, he said he was about to finished up when my son and I heard the WRX fire up again. Rich worked another 15-20 min on the timing to pull another 7hp and flatten the power curve. I am really pleased with his service, and the results.

I have a 2007 WRX Wagon with Invidia DP, JIC Catback, SPT Intake. Rich added a APS re-circulating blow off valve to hold boost better.

Check the plots...

that's good stuff

can you pm me the price they charged? or even an estimate since shops like to over estimate prices a lot. I might want to get retune for the cheapo 91 octane when I get there.

Just have Travis street tune it before you sell it Bobby. No need to blow 400 at DC for a tune on parts your pulling off in a month

Very nice... I've heard he does great work.

Are you running the stock 5spd? If so, did he mention any concerns with that much tq even if you don't abuse it?

Its the stock 5speed, and he didn't mention anything. I know of several people who are putting out more torque than I am through the 5 speed with no problems. Smooth power application is the key!

^^ yeah and being able to drive is key too.

its always the people who grenade their trannys that complain that the tranny is weak and blame subaru.... then they usually end up grenading it again after they fix it (bad design??? no just bad drivers)
