Any skateboard hook-ups for a fellow SCIC'er?
I'm looking to get back into skating, it's been a while. I'm wondering if any of you cats have any insider connects to cheap/free skateboard gear (decks, trucks, wheels, bearings... all that crap) and are willing to pass along. Anybody?

HEY! I've got a board and some shoes for sale. They are the OSIRIS Kanten Russell (size 10) in black on black laces. Very sweet looking. They even smell like new shoes still. Only wore them three times. And my deck is a blank, blank wheels, Bones Swiss bearings and Venture trucks (very light, not even grinded). I thought I was going to get back in to it but I got so busy again... These items are like new. Paid 120 for the board and 70 for the shoes new. Make me an offer. Thx. [email protected] Bryan |

hey! I just recently started skating again after a loooong layoff. Damn. didn't think my muscles could hurt this much again!
Someone gave me a gift certificate to fogdog.com and I just bought a setup from them. Probably could have found cheaper locally, but they had a decent selection and it shipped in like 2 days. Good luck and dont kill yourself on a handrail. *remembers skating on sims snakes... |

If you come to the meet in June I'll be glad to hook you up with as much as you like. I have about 4 decks (including a muska blue deck, an A-Team deck, an Alien Workshop Deck, and a Girl Deck). I also have titan trucks, venture trucks, grind king trucks, and krux trucks. I have bones bearings, halo bearings, and lucky bearings. All the wheels I have are spitfire wheels. And the bearings are the shorty's hardware (silverado). PM me if you're interested.

I've never been to Northridge, is there some sort of cool spot or something? I mostly just screw around in the parking lot after work. I'm pretty crappy at it, but it's a good time.
I'll post if I find a good spot. Thanks for the responses! WRX POWER: Hey thanks, but I've got shoes and some interesting leads. |

Sk8........
You are just getting back into it...awesome! If i were you i can lead you to great decks. I have four uncuts (you cut them to fit) They would be like 30 shipped to you or i will be there in two weeks and i can drop it off. There is also Stink decks i can get cheap, and Scum decks too! If you plan on skating for a while i would go with a CCS blank which is good, or the new Lib Tech boards. I guess they are awesome and my friend has one and they are sweet. Let me know if you need anything! Also, we should get a sk8 meet planned for us subie guys and go to the orange county Vans Park or we could go to Skatelab...but i bet we could get a few of us. Since i will be new there, i will need some skaters to hang with. And snowboarders...... chris www.SRiPerformance.com |

Here is a bump. I've got a skating jones!
OF course I'll probably just get a concussion or something, but that's all part of the fun! My goal: Ollie higher than 1" (previous acomplishment before my old deck was snatched circa 1992) |

I've got big feet, so I need a deck that's at least 7 3/4" wide. Also, I hear Zero, Element and Enjoi make good stuff. Not sure about Toy Machine.
What do you have that fits the bill? What graphic? Let me know and then I'll get my $$$ ready to fire off. |

i have size 11 ft. and i skate a 8 1/4 deck. The wider the better for ramp riding.

im going to northridge tonight for the 7-11 session i think. a lot of you should role. it cost like 10 bucks without a membership and you just have to wear a helmet. the number is 818-341-4758 if you wanna call and get directions and ask them what time the last session is cause they might have the 10-1am session today and if they do im gonna go to that one.
