pretty balanced performance, and certainly in rare company for the price.

So the STi can outbreak a Porsche? I find that hard to believe, but if the numbers say it's true, w00t!!

Dood, the STi and EVO have been stopping incredibly quick in all the reviews. Pretty amazing.

Just make sure you put some braided brake lines in if you want to out break a Porsce at the second turn and not just the first.

That list must not include up-to-date info for all models, since a 2003 SVT Cobra can definitely outrun the STi in the 1/4. I don't know why I'm taking the time to point this out as I don't have any special love for the Cobra, just found it a notable ommission.

Motor Trend has the SVT Cobra at 13.2 in the quarter mile.. I wouldn't call that "definitely". That is exactly the same as the STI. The first cobra numbers that were in the 12's are NOT realistic. I know from first hand experince. Really I would say the STi will more consitantly beat the Cobra because of AWD. Trying to get the Cobra to hook of the line will be way more difficult.

Might've left it out accidentally when I typed it up. Will check.

Default Corrections

The mags generally will use a corrective formula against the raw times generated in their tests. This supposedly levels the playing field for Temp, Humidity, Elevation,...etc.

That might the explain the discrepencies between published Cobra 1/4 mile times and the "I saw a Cobra run 12s stock".
