Talking Help fellow member out

***Nothing is for sale as of right now***

I hate to do it, but I need to entertain the remote possibilty of either selling the car as a whole or parting it out. I'd prefer option 1, but with that said if people who have more experience then I in selling items or cars could provide me with feedback as to what I might beable to ask for the car as a whole or what I could start asking for parts on the car if it came down to it. Thanks in advance and hopefully I'll be able to figure something else out other then selling anything off my pride and joy!!!

Per Request here's a link to some pics

dibs on the shifter/bushings/momo shifter knob and prodrive springs...possibly the KYB and f/r swaybars too. Lemme know if you part this out with a PM.

Thanks!

Probably somewhere in the neighborhood of $32K but I know it's not going to happen. Avg NADA value of the car stock is 17k and I've got 23K in mods on the car. Bascially I'm screwed either way I look at it.

I think the $23K in mods is more funny. How do you come up with that number? Did you buy everything from Vivid racing?

Have you had all these parts installed since new?

For example, how long have the various TXS parts been in use for?

Thanks,
David

It's very easy to do, just start adding everything up including tuning time and beleive it or not it adds up extremly quick. I never thought I'd be that much into the car, I had figured 15k pushing it.

Never bought one thing from vivid...

Different parts have been on longer then others, some just installed with in the last week others have been there for 6 months, few maybe longer. I'd have to pull receipts to get a better idea of when they actually went on the car.

Regardless, I'm still brainstorming how to come up with cash with out getting rid of parts, mainly I wanted to see if the interest was here for them and or perhaps the car as a whole. If it come down to it I will throw a list out there in order of things I would get rid of with prices.

KBB isn't the best place for obtaining numbers unfortunately, you have to use the NADA value b/c this is what every dealer uses. Everytime I've brought KBB up I get no where.

Not my opnion but merely speaking from experience.

NADA is probably worse. (at least the NADA the dealers use). I find KBB to be on the higher side, with Edmunds being more realistic. Just my experience though.

If I have to part out springs would be one of the last things to go. Struts have maybe 2K on them, just installed about 2 weeks ago. Sways and endlinks have maybe 6k.

Again, I put on about 800 miles a week for work.
