So the A/C clutch swap didn't work, I'm going the same route as Patrick and swapping hose hard-ends and fittings with modified hosing from a refrigeration shop. There is the possibility that the lines I found on a 2003 Forrester may be a direct replacement (at least the line from the firewall to the compressor), I'll let u guys know ...

I wouldn't call what I have "stable" but I do have a running map for the elite 2500 if you still need one.

I'll have to look again for specifics but the clutches are different, they don't bolt up the same. If you're getting a donor car or JDM engine you might as well use the H6 compressor, just skip the automatic AC for your own personal sanity.

I need all the help I can get! I’m using the haltech elite 2500 with a premium wiring harness.

I’m debating using the jdm engine harness, but not sure yet.

I'm running the same ecu so two things, make sure you upgrade the the nexus firmware for the ECU and definitely hit me up if you have any issues.

Intake manifold is still in the design process, hopefully have it finalized this month. Going to possibly 3D print out of glass filled nylon 6.6
This isn’t the most recent rev

Hate to do this publicly but can you delete some of your PMs, because I really want to talk to you about this. Can't send you any PMs until your inbox is emptied a bit though.

How many people would be interested in an intake for the eZ30/36? This version uses a Bosch 84mm throttle body but can be customized

What are you printing the intake out of?

Love to see more parts being made for the eg/ez platforms. Think this could be made as an itb manifold like those old tomei ones for the ejs?

Glad I found this thread, Ill soon be tackling an eg33 build into a 04 wrx wagon. Figured I would hop in here and ask while I scrounge through the 150 pages of posts. Anyone turboing these guys? I'm looking at 2 GTX2860R's for each bank. Hoping to find a nice turbo setup that can spool sub 3500 rpm and achieve around 700 crank. If anyone has experience in a quick spooling turbo that hits around those number let a guy know.

I see most of you guys are working with the EZ series. Its crazy how much room you are getting between your rad and the front of the engine. Definitely digging the compact size of your engines.

Im still on the fence to some degree but to my knowledge the eg supports many of the EJ series parts. If there was more support for the EZ Id go for a ez36 and sleeve it. That Dual ACVS is just too good to overlook.

How much power are those tuned to make? What is the point of them? Does the stock intake plenum not flow well or something?

2 turbos for each bank?! That seems a bit much for an engine that's only 3.3L of displacement.

I haven't looked for it in a long time, but there used to be a similar thread on rs25.com and it had a lot more EG swaps than EZ swaps. Take a look there. You can also check out the "Six Swapped Subarus" group on FB, plenty of EG content there.

In general, I think the EGs are better for boost. In particular, the EZ36 has those funky asymmetric rods, which aren't supposed to be boost-friendly.

The plastic intake from the ez30/36 isn't super fantastic in a stock or close to stock application, one of mine as a 1ft long crack running up the cyl 6 runner. I've seen a lot of really cool ideas for custom intakes, but I really don't have the welding experience to bring them to life myself. This option would provide me a stronger intake that might be able to handle boost where the factory intake couldn't standup to vacuum. Everything else about the intake is fine though.

Can I ask what kind of support you're looking for that you can't find? What 4cly parts would you want for a 6cyl? Fuel systems are generally universal, until you get to the hanger in the tank and the fuel rails, Outfront motor sports has ez30 fuel rails, I use injector dynamics WRX style injectors, Radium engineering has the rest of the fuel system including single and dual pump hangers. OBX exhaust headers, I haven't found anyone that makes a commercially available AM intake manifold, but I literally got an L-pipe and a 90 degree bend at a local auto parts store to go from the manifold to the filter housing. The Subaru factory intake is a legitimate cold air intake, so no reason to go AM for that, throw in a K&N filter in the factory box and move on. I can't think of a single thing I would want, or that makes sense, to take from an EJ. I run a Haltech stand alone, that has a Haltech provided ez30 base map, so not even a reason to reprogram an EJ ECU, apparently the pins are there but it still doesn't make sense to go that route, *at least it doesn't make sense to me.

Still working on the design, but my main point for making this is so I can do a rotated intake manifold. The factory plastic one cannot be rotated because it hits the hood.

What's your plan to produce this?
CNC machining?

I haven’t gotten that far yet, but it is an option. Very expensive option forsure. I’m considering having one 3D printed out of glass filled nylon at first and doing some testing
