![]() Event: Dyno Day @ ¼ Mile
Location: Speed Industry, Troy MI & Milan Dragway, Milan MI Ambient Temp: 50-60 throughout the day Elevation: 600-700ft above sea level Weather: cloudy/dark(night) Track and Conditions: decently prepped track. Cooler out, was gripping pretty good for my self. Dry out. Slightly up hill Tires: Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec - 205/55/16 Car: 02 WRX wagon Tuner: PhatBotti - Remote tuned. Whiteline low roll center ball joints and tie rod ends I purchased this car last year in June @ 164k. I've since put 40k on it in just over a year. When i purchased it, it was 100% stock. Did the whole Stage2 setup within the first two weeks of owning the car and ran a 13.7 @ 101 at Ubly in Ubly, MI last year. coming into spring of this year when the vf22+e85 setup came to play and i couldn't be more happy with the results. The Dyno below is actually a layover of my car PRE and POST FMIC/3" Inlet and Intake w/ a retune. The oscillation you see only happens on the dyno for some reason. it was having issues staying @ 22psi on the dyno. But on the street it has no issues what so ever. we did a 4th gear pull (second dyno sheet) over layed with the other two and you can see the oscillation is not there. Dyno w/ Old vs New overlay (both tuned by PhatBotti) ![]() Second Dyno Sheet w/ all 3 of my pulls. ![]() Video of my car on the dyno My Timeslips - Please note, the date on the systems @ Milan are always wrong. they never fix them. I scanned these last night. If needed, i can take pictures of all 12 of my slips laid out on a table with a tag. The last sheet i have on there is the 12.6 run. I rolled slightly after the light went and it cut me a bad 60'... but i still ran a 12.6. the car has a 12.2 in it, and maybe an 11 if i push it hard enough. but im done for the year with this setup and im extremely happy with the outcome. ![]() Big thanks to PhatBotti for the awesome support and tune!

![]() Awesome numbers man I love seeing the vf22 runs. I've often considered going back to a set up like this and getting rid of the rotated set up, just seems like a fun daily use car! Also big thumbs up on the 200k+ miles near 300whp and still going...very cool!

![]() thanks guys!
yeah, the car is a blast. I'm pretty anal as far as maintenance goes so fluids get changed out constantly. It doesn't feel like 200k. it actually feels better then a good friends 60k car. Depending on what happens next year, I really wanna try for 11's on a stock block VF22 wagon w/ full interior. Then it'll be big boy numbers after. |

Actually, using launch control yielded me with worse 60's. Generally i hold it around 5-6k and slip it in for a split second then full throttle and pull off the clutch. does me really well. if my clutch wasn't slipping as bad i could have easily hit a 1.7 Mikey, to be honest. I think a clutch, ewg, and pushing it a bit more i could hit 11's..... When i have the next block and trans ready to go, i'll bring a truck and trailer with me to the track and push it to the limit one last time before i swap everything. ![]() |
