Default What to look for in a body shop?

I'm getting the front of my machine re-painted due to excessively rock damaged paint. What characteristics separate good body shops from crappy ones? Just take the lowest estimate?

Thanks.

What I do is look at the types of cars parked on their lot that they are working on. If they are high end or respectable cars, then most likely they'll be reputable and have good quality. . . . . .emphasis on MOST LIKELY.

it's tough though... you never know how well (or crappy) someone does something until it's done.

the only thing that comes to mind is going to a bigger shop with a gaurentee and someone who will do it until YOU are satasfied. of course they all say they will until you bitch about their quality

<-------------- tobey is in the same boat, lots of stuff needs to be painted

Ask your trusted dealer who they use. Dealers don't play with crappy body shops if they are a new car dealer.
