I'll be pretty upset if mine are knock-offs since import image racing says they get them direct...

I've dealt with them many times and have always been happy.

Question for you more experienced flare guys,
My setup will look something like this:
315/30 on a 18x11 +8

After skimming 50 pages I learnt that I will be good on the tubs to not rub because I am in between +5 & +15 and that I should cut the inside portion of the flares.
But my question is how bad would the rub be on the fender itself since this will be considerably flush to my flares.

Gentlemen. I was just chatting with Karlton himself on facebook last night. I may have Forcewerkz listed, but we do not stock even the smallest item from Forcewerkz. I stock only Karlton. Be clear here. I run a proper business here for almost a decade, If I say they are karltons, they are. Don't believe me? look up Karlton Lew on facebook and ask him yourself. I'm the only one stocking 15 sets to help out our customers....Ironically we did have a good laugh about the forcewerkz item's, I mean he copies everyone. I'm simply a reseller of goods, I offer most brands and their competition. I'd have no problem removing the forcewerkz flares from my website, because they don't sell.

I had a customer inquire on possible 08+ flares last night in the case any of you are inquiring-
"any plans for 08+ fender flares? also 11+ fender flares? some guys are showing interest...they say they are having issues getting more then 265 or 275's on the new body"
Karlton Lew
"hmmm not currently but if I can get a car to work on, i guess anything is possible"

Really cool to see he can do some customs ones that can lead to production.

Josh

I would be seriously interested if they do a set of 08+ flares.

Aarron, good good! lets rally the troops and see how much interest we can get, Then I can work with Karlton to get some cars over there! We'd have him develop them so we can stock them as well. I do realize the 08+ fenders are wider stock, but to attain the 295...305's etc they definitely need some flares.

It might rub fully locked and compressed but not as near as 18x11+21 from my experience. It rubbed on full lock, paint down to the metal.

Then I ran spacers to be an effective -4 offset no more rubbing lol

Oh and excess camber could cause inner rubbing as well.

Yes IIR gets the flares directly from me. Always have. Yes they do sell the knock offs too but as Josh stated, they don't really sell. So they should have been from me. Personally I hope they do take them off the site, though i've never been a fan of knock off stuff in the first place. Hell I even bought a real v limited front lip lol. All fiberglass require some work here and there and for that i'm sorry. I'll have the molds checked but the last set I installed fit pretty well.

I know 11 +15 (11 +20 with a spacer) with a 315/30 and very little camber worked ok on my buddies car:

With yours I would run -2 degrees, trim the lips on the flares as much as possible, and trim as much off of your fenders as you can. I have 11 +10 right now, and I have no doubts I can run 315s if I want. But I run -3.8 front, -2.5 rear camber also.

Over 20hrs of body work per corner, I think we got the single worst fitting pair ever produced.

Mine look pretty rough too. I bought mine directly from Karlton though a couple years ago.

Token: are you getting the molded on, or just painted?

I do plan to trim the lips and hopefully run as little camber as possible, thanks for the insight.

I'm planning on get a set of the work d9r in 18x10.5 +18. Any thoughts? Good offset or more ? What size tires 285/30? Wheels don't come in until march so I have time to get some input. I'd like about -1 of camber. About about a +15 offset?
