Default Weak Rough shakey idle with AC and rear defrost on

Hello all, I'm at about 90,000km and was expirincing a weak idle with my AC on and worse with the rear defrost on at the same time. With my Infiniti it was always dirty throttle bodies and figured it was the same with the rex. I was correct in my case.

Car is totally stock.

It's not allowing me to upload photos for some reason but this throttle body was filthy and a bit of a PITA to get at. The throttle body cleaner I used didn't even make a dent in the grime and I had to resort to a metal polish to get it off. Followed by the cleaner spray to remove any remaining polish.

Just a note, Mine may have got dirty quicker as I use a k&n drop in filter.

Need: 12mm+10mm socket. Throttle body cleaner, and in my case a decent metal polish.

Steps. Remove engine cover and intercooler. (12mm socket)

Remove coupler from intercooler to throttle body

Remove electrical plug from throttle body and 4 bolts that secure throttle body to intake plenum (10mm)

Fanaggle out the throttle body from it's very inconvenient location under the plenum.

Clean as much soot as you can. You can hold the throttle body open with a screwdriver handle. Even the ends of the butterfly plate

Final spray with a throttle body cleaner

Do all steps in reverse for reassembly. I added a tiny bit of lube to get the hose fittings on easier. Being sure not to over tighten any bolts to the plastic plenum. And ensure all hose clamps are tight.

RESET THROTTLE BODY POSITION. cycle the key on and off once or twice, listening for the throttle body clicks under the hood between cycles. Then start the car.

Sorry if this is posted already I did a quick search and didn't find anything.

Shot in the dark here but, stock battery? If so try a replacement.

I just had to do mine after 2 years of ownership.

I haven't, judging by the throttle body it's probably just as dirty at the valves. Problem is I don't have the equipment and don't want to pay the several hundred to get it cleaned. But I know I gotta do it sooner or later.
