Stock block normal oil usage?

I've got a fairly high mile stock ej255 with an 18gxt that uses around a quart per 3k, I pulled my tmic today to weld an iat bung and found 0 oil so its not through the pcv system(killer b aos is in the garage waiting for a long weekend off). I'm rolling the dice and switching to e85, just wondering if my oil usage is normal and will it go up?

Always first in my threads I swear, that's what I was hoping, especially running a larger turbo. I've seen less but not really from 100k+ mile cars.

Yeah I mean you're gonna be consuming a fair amount until you install that AOS. Get that installed and then you can really judge

Your going to need to check the oil often and top it off as needed, A little over full is ok, the engine will use it.

I think a qt per 1000 miles is when it's at the limit for oil usage per Subaru.


I have found, more boost, more oil usage.
