![]() I've got a fairly high mile stock ej255 with an 18gxt that uses around a quart per 3k, I pulled my tmic today to weld an iat bung and found 0 oil so its not through the pcv system(killer b aos is in the garage waiting for a long weekend off). I'm rolling the dice and switching to e85, just wondering if my oil usage is normal and will it go up?

![]() Yeah I mean you're gonna be consuming a fair amount until you install that AOS. Get that installed and then you can really judge

![]() Your going to need to check the oil often and top it off as needed, A little over full is ok, the engine will use it.
I think a qt per 1000 miles is when it's at the limit for oil usage per Subaru. I have found, more boost, more oil usage. Last edited by Max Capacity; 06-07-2022 at 12:25 PM. |
