Default RH Intake AVCS cam gear

The RH intake AVCS dowel pin hole has what looks like two positions that the dowel pin can go in, do I put it in the left side of the dowel pin hole or the right dowel pin hole? I can seat the dowel pin but it moves back and forth, not sure which position to torque it.

It works on mobile. Nasioc image upload doesnít work either. Itís definitely shot though. Looks like it got out on with the dowel pin only halfway into the hole and it peened over.

I canít see it but I think they smush the hole bigger if you tighten them down wrong.

Can confirm, on my intake gears only one position fits correctly. If it was ever torqued down on the incorrect one, the hole in the cam is likely damaged.
