![]() Intermittent Popping/Burbling noise on warm idle. I want to know if this is normal or something I need to look into and be concerned about.
Sounds to me more like a burbling noise. I do not get it on cold start only when at idle when the car is warmed up. It is not a constant burble/pop it happens every 5-20 seconds especially after just coming back from a drive. The catback exhaust I have on the car only seems to exaggerate the burble/pop noise. I have cleaned the MAF, reset ECU, Spark plugs are changed within the last 2K miles. Car runs strong with good power and making target boost. No CEL, DAM drop etc. 2005 Sti The car is on a cobb stage 1 OTS map I've heard they can run rich. I plan to eventually get protuned/etuned once I get a downpipe and other supporting mods. Currently just running catback, cyl 4 cooling mod so no actual performance mods.
