Your choice. What ever works best for you. Either way you are going to spread it evenly with your fingers anyway.

Nice write up!

I need to do this this weekend on my 05 WRX wagon so I appreciate the write up a lot!

Iím glad it can help.

Itís one of the last projects I did before my health went south. Iím lucky to do basic oil changes now. And thatís a struggle.
