Default 2002 Impreza STI sport wagon (JDM)

Decided to sell my bugeye STI sport wagon! Obviously, it is from Japan, so right hand drive. Pretty rare beast, not a lot of these are around. I've never seen another one myself. I've had it for a couple of years now, but I am planning to get into dirt bikes now, so it's not really a great fit for me anymore...

It's got about 119,000km on it right now. I have spent A LOT of money and time on this thing getting it damn near perfect. Just added the receipts up tonight, I have spent over $6500 in parts alone! I am a licensed automotive tech, so I do all the work myself, except for the tuning. It's got a few interesting factory options as well, such as a STI Genome triple gauge set.

Some new parts/repairs I have done:
-resealed valve covers (first thing I did after buying the car, as well as changed all the filters and fluids (all Motul synthetic fluids!), and other maintenance stuff)
-Exedy stage 1 clutch and lightened flywheel
-Continental Extreme Contact DWS tires (approx 8/32" tread remaining)
-DBA 4000 series rotors paired with Project Mu NS400 pads, front and rear
-Group N engine and transmission mounts
-both AVCS cam position sensors replaced with OEM Subaru sensors
-Perrin turbo inlet
-refreshed the fuel system with a Deatschwerks DW200 pump, new filter, and new OEM fuel pressure regulator, as well as had the injectors serviced by NW Fuel Injection in Surrey (ultrasonically cleaned and tested to be like new)
-Tons of other new parts and upgrades. I have the receipts for everything.

Also Mike at Project Lambda tuned it to run on 94 octane. It's running great! Doesn't burn any oil at all between oil changes (which are done every 3000kms or 4 months, whichever happens first, using an OEM Subaru filter and Motul 8100 X-cess 5W40). Pulls hard like it should!

The only problems with the car is that the clear coat on the roof is starting to fade and flake off a bit. Not as bad as a lot of cars from Japan, but it is there. Otherwise the body is perfect! Not a spot of rust anywhere on the car!

I have forgotten and am too lazy to try to post pics on here, so please check out my craigslist ad for photos of the car.

https://vancouver.craigslist.org/rch...818159050.html

The new price is $12,900. I feel this is more than reasonable for this car, but I am still open to offers. Also may be interested in trades/partial trades for small pickup truck and/or a newer model dirt bike.

Any questions, try PM or email me through the craigslist ad! Thanks!

Changed the price a bit, but on that note, for those of you who read this ad, what do you think? Am I asking too much? I see a couple of JDM bug eye STI sedans on craigslist right now asking a lot more for their cars than what I want for mine. Let me know what you think, it is appreciated.

I'll bite.

I am probably not someone you are looking for a response from (GC owner looking for potential STi donors) but I am "in the market" and have been keeping tabs on your Nasioc/CL ads..

The pricing may not be what "I" am looking for in regards for a potential donor but I find myself coming back to your ads since it seems to be an example which has been well maintained and cared for by an enthusiast.

GLWS as I think it should be better condition than various other examples up for sale atm.

Well thanks for the input guys

I have lowered the price once more, but it won't be getting any lower than this! Tell your friends! lol

But seriously, tell your friends, if they might be interested in buying an STI wagon.

$12,900

Beautiful car. GLWS. I'm currently looking a rebuilt 06 WRX wagon this afternoon.

Funny you should say this. Before I bought my STI wagon, I was thinking of just settling with a WRX wagon too. All it took for me was one test drive. Why get a WRX when you can have an STI? Mine's not a rebuilt either. Just sayin'...
