Brown is making it even worse for himself:

According to the report, the mother of Brown’s daughter drove to Brown’s home to drop off their daughter and collect money for her hair appointment. Brown wouldn’t give her the money or let her into the house, so she made it impossible for Brown to close the door by standing in the doorway. When she wouldn’t move, he “used both hands to push her out of the doorway, causing her to fall backwards to the ground.” (She sustained a sore wrist and scrapes.) She then took her daughter and drove to her mother’s house.

The report says that the victim “refused to complete a victim affidavit,” and was given a brochure on domestic violence and information on how to file a restraining order. TMZ reported on Wednesday that the victim later went to police and tried to “cancel” her report because she no longer wished to press charges, and admitted that she had stood in the doorway and refused to leave after Brown had asked her to go. Brown was not arrested in connection to the alleged dispute.

Falcons are releasing Matt Bryant after 10yrs. He only missed one kick last season and has consistently been one of the best kickers in the league.

I'm sure this won't come back to bite them in the ass at the worst possible moment

Why have a rule for that? That is and should be up to the coach to you know, actually tell them not to do that. A coaching decision.

Like when BB said "don't reach the ball across the line in an attempt to get more yards or a TD, keep it close to your body." After time and time again, the ball gets stripped/knocked out and it's a fumble.

And people keep calling Brady, Thanos. Nope. That's more BB. Quiet, reserved, always looking 4-5 steps ahead. Just whan you got them figured out, you're already lost.

Just pick the Pats again. They have the potential for 12 picks, if they don't trade any away.

He had just posted online that he was feeling great. Probably sensed the change coming.

I am by no means condoning any type of domestic violence, but if she was standing in the doorway, is that not still technically considered his property and he has every right to ask her to leave?

Obviously we don't know how hard he "pushed" her or how violent the situation became. And obviously he could have just not laid hands on her at all and just called the cops on her for trespassing. But if you are on someone else's property and they ask you to leave, you should probably...well, you know, leave.

But you're right; whether or not he was "right or wrong", any type of off-field drama (no matter how minor) will just make him even less desirable to teams. I have no doubt that there will be a whole list of teams eager to pick him up, but his value is dropping day by day.

Won't matter. The Bears always seem to find a way to crush my hopes.

I think they trade some to move up, and will prob finish with around 9-10 picks. I think they move up to take the Duke QB.

Anyone watch the AAF games this weekend? I wanted to watch Saturday, but was driving through all of it, and Sunday I forgot to tune in

Wondering if it was at least entertaining to some level.

They said it had better ratings than the NBA games, but might just be an anomaly since it was opening weekend.

Yeah, not sure why they compare anything to regular season NBA. It just doesn't get much in the form of ratings until playoffs.

The browns let go of Josh Gordon because of off the field issues yet sign Kareem Hunt who had off the field issues that are probably worse than Josh Gordon.

Hunt punted a chick, sure. Gordon ****ed up for like what, 5 straight years? And they were paying him for the pleasure.

I think I recall reading somewhere after all the fines and missed games for suspension Gordon's earnings are relatively low for as long as he's played.

Perhaps we are comparing apples to oranges because assaulting people seems a bit worse than smoking weed. (Full disclosure I don't know the full extent of Gordon's substance abuse issues)
