green paint, brembo 4pot/2pots, "exclusive" bronze cast 17" wheels, sachs dampers, additional underbody aero (not trick stuff, just the stuff they are putting on newer cars to reduce NVH)
black & tan interior, combination of alcantara outer & leather inner seating surfaces.

might be some other stuff I missed, but no additional power.

not sure what is part of a package and what is standard though, Google translate speaks Japanese only slightly better than I do.

I love that color. I wish more manufacturers would show BRG some love.

I'm a fan of BRG & DHG, but I prefer the blue hues... Grabber, Nitrous, Leguna Seca, hyper...

Oh my.

I, I need this.

Even though it looks closer to Acadia Green Metallic.

I'm not sure if that color works for the 86. I like the interior color contrast though.

British Green works better on a rounder shaped car like that classic posted above, Rover Mini's and Bimmer MINI's.

No additional power, it's the Subaru way. We'll throw in a bunch of bolt-ons but you can't have power. That's why we never got the Legacy STI here. When SOJ said we could have a Legacy STI but it wouldn't have any additional power, SOA said, No thanks, it won't sell.

Subaru reminds me of the guy selling fireworks in the movie Joe Dirt. They dont want to increase the power or add forced induction becease of what the designer wants but it is clear that while there is a nice size group of buyers content with the lower power level, there is probably an equal sized group to that want this car with a turbo, cost and wieght be damned. You sell what the buyer wants as long as you can make money not what you want the buyer to have.

Why put British racing green on a BRZ? It's a great color, don't get me wrong, but why actually call it BRG when the car is japanese through and through.

You people cannot be pleased.

Engineer gets their way (for once) THEY'RE WRONG!

Bean counters get their way (as usual) THEY SHOULD LISTEN TO THE ENGINEERS!

Damn, maybe the guy knows that a car can be more than the sum of it's #'s.

That and it's not really BRG, is it?

Like I posted, it's much closer in appearance to Acadia Green.

But the answer: Because marketable name.

I own a car where the engineers had the say and the bean counters got fd. And its g damn awesome! So always go with the engineers over the bean counters! Tell the accountants to be productive, and go f themselves!

Solution is to make both NA and FI versions. Everyone is happy.

I get the argument for the NA but there is an equal one for the FI and I am not talking just magazine racing.
With a turbo this car would be a classic eve if it added 100lbs (which the after market kits add this or less).

I totally agree, two versions would have satisfied both camps.

As for this car, I love the interior, and the 90's Honda green is sweet too, just not sure it really works with those wheels and the lines of this car. I love goldies, but I feel gunmetal would have worked a bit better. I think Mazda wins with their 30th anniversary orange.
