Default Tread Wear

I have RE92 tires on my MY01. The tread in the back seems nice and even, however, the tread on the front tires in quite worn on the inside. Do the RS cars generally wear at this point or do I need and alignment and new tires?

I am having the same problem with my car. Have you installed lowering springs? I have the H&R's installed. I went to a Goodyear tire/alignment shop and they had to correct the Toe In, but according to them the camber was within factory specs. My front tires continue to wear unevenly on the inside edge of the tire. At this point I will have to buy new tires, but I'm worried my new tires will also wear unevenly.

Pretty sure that my suspension is all stock. Bought the car in Dec 03 and car seemed to be all stock. Well hopefully someone else will read this thread and provide us some insight. My tread is going fast and new tires, eek, just got the dang car. Well upgrading the RE92's on the car will be better anyhow. Tho same concern as yourself, will the next set wear the same.

Do you or anyone else know if the Potenza RE92s are stock tires?

re-92's are stock on pretty much all subes. I had them on my 02 TS, I just got rota's so off they came with about 37k on them. All the corners on the re92's were worn pretty badly with the center tread looking fine. I'm guessing this is because of the soft sidewall which allows the tire to roll slightlyduring cornering and the stupid low pressures subaru suggests. I inflated mine to max listed on the tire (35psi), that helped slightly but I needed my tires to last so I tried my best to not corner so hard. I've heard of people inflating up to 44psi, can anyone else confirm this?
