Default 1st track day in my 2017 BRZ

There hasn't been a new thread here in a while. So, check out my latest BRZ track day video This was an SCCA Track Night in America event, pretty casual lapping type of event. A friend of mine was also out there in his 2017 PP BRZ and we did a bit of lead/follow. Good time!

oops - didn't realize how old this thread was. My bad.

Welcome to the most expensive hobby of your life

First track day stories are the best.

Everyone thinks they're a BA driver until their first track day when they get owned by a Miata or Civic with 100 whp. Realistically, even as you move up the groups, there will always be someone in a car that should never be able to go that fast smoking everyone else haha.

Fun times, I'm starting to really consider an FRS/BRZ for a newer daily that I can reliably track without having to dump too much $ into it beyond basic cooling/brake/suspension mods. I'm scared to test drive one because I know once I do it's game over. It's the comfortable 2+2 hardtop miata that I've always wanted. If only it were a fastback...

Oh, it wasn't my first track day, just the first one in my 2017 BRZ I have a dedicated e36 track car for HPDE/TT that i regularly drive. The BRZ is a superb track car though!
