I tried that but my wife knows all my hiding spots. I had to really butter her up to order some new rims Tuesday night though

I agree with your post after installing it Thursday evening.

The cold starts are insanely loud IMO. Thinking about switching over to a 4" muffler set up due to this. Regular and spirited driving is night and day compared to stock. The sound is really nice (video does it no justice at all; sounds super raspy an civic-y in the video) and there is absolutely no drone with these. Still not classic boxer rumble, but it sounds good in a different way.

They were a great buy, but I would not keep these on long-term. Looking to get a different catback eventually with a different exhaust note.

Gonna enjoy the heck out of them for now though!
I agree 100%.

I installed it Thursday... Drove around Friday all day for work (stop & go/city traffic, some highway).

I had a friend with a 2015 WRX stop by late last night to hear it on my car and she's going to buy it.

I agree with you about 4" mufflers. Some people will be fine with the muffler delete but not me.

Any impressions of the new Invidia j-pipe?

How is the build quality as compared to the other j-pipes on the market?

I'll try to take some better pictures of it unboxed today.

i got the invidia q300 installed on my cvt wrx. to be honest im not satisfied with the loudness. im looking to add something to make it louder. what would you guys suggest i do? change to nameless or the loud exhausts or just add a catless downpipe? your opinion would really help!

J pipe should make it louder but going with another exhaust system would help too. Always felt q300 was a quiet exhaust on our cars, try ETS, P&L or nameless

Thanks. Looking forward to hearing firsthand how the quality is on it. Definitely priced a lot better than any other j-pipe out there. Was wanting to hear some feedback before I order one myself.

fill in your profile to include location. that way if someone has an exhaust that is louder, you can go hear it in person and get a better idea.
plus if someone is near you, they can buy the q300 off of you if you do decide to swap it

corsa and nameless would be my 2 votes though

pretty sure the invidia catless is available right now, for around $400?
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2704907

but someone can correct me if i'm wrong, but i believe that if you get a downpipe, you need to get a tune as well..

Does anyone have the CNT exhaust on their 15 yet that can give me some feedback on its sound? I cannot find any videos to get an idea what it is going to sound like. I have found plenty with the previous gens UEL's, but I know that is not a good comparison.
The main thing that I want to avoid is rasp and excessive drone. Can anyone infer from the muffler size what exhaust it MIGHT be close to sounding like on the 15?

Judging by its looks, I'd say it will closest resemble a Q300

I think it is a q300 piping and turboxs mufflers and q300 tips. I will probably be ordering one soon.

Thank you for your responses, for the price I think it could be worth trying. I do not want to spend 1K for an exhaust so... It is down to the N1 for ≈$700 or the CNT for ≈$600. Do I go loud or stay quiet

What would you do with this budget?

I am not a fan of the n1 so I would go CNT. Based on my research it is louder than q300 but quieter than an n1.

I have ridden in a q300 car and it was a shade too quiet to feel worth the money, n1 is too loud, IMO.

I went Agency Power (11-14 sedan model) for ~ $700 and I'm loving every minute of it. Not N1 loud but definitely louder and deeper than the Q300s I've heard.

Still slacking on making a video though once I get my car washed and looking acceptable I'll get on it.

Installed Nameless Axleback (muffler delete) - 3/12 (evening)
Friend came by to listen to the Nameless Axleback - 3/13 (evening)
Sold Nameless Axleback - 3/13 (after they went for a drive)
Purchased Nameless Axleback (3.5" Tips - 4" Mufflers) - 3/15

I bought the Nameless axleback (3.5" tips - 4" mufflers) used from a guy that was selling it on here. Should be here on Wednesday

I guess I'm getting old... The muffler delete isn't for me. It's not as loud as I thought it would be but still not for me.
