Thumbs up PDE (merged thread)

I just got off the phone with Ian from PDE a little while ago. I dont think that i have EVER had a nicer person on the other end of the line! He is VERY knowledgeable, and is completely in love with what he does! I ordered one of his downpipes and one of his uppipes! I will install both of them right away and post a review! There is already a review of his uppipe in the parts forum! Look at the pics and notice the AMAZING attention to detail! You can tell that each uppipe is looked over like a million times before it leaves tehir shop! You can get there parts form www.spimotorsports.com and www.autocaresubaru.com! The mainpage is www.pde-usa.com! CHECK them out! ANd tell them that i sent you! He likes me! lol!

They will be releaseing a Turbo kit for the 2.5RS soon, and they are also going making a billet fuel rail kit, Downpipe, Uppipe, Turbo timer harness, Midpipe, and more for the WRX!

I must say that Ian at PDE provided outstanding customer service.

I orderd a set of camber/caster plates at a much more reasonable price that 8 months ago. I went to install them and found out that the AGX nuts did not fit when used with the plates. Apparently, the nuts that come from PDE are designed to work with factory or similar strut. Ian machined some new nuts for me using some AGXs that he had in the shop for free and shipped them for free. He says that now he will make sure other customers don't have similar issues.

I haven't had a chance to use the new nuts because now my rear struts are leaking. I email Ian and asked if I could get a refund but he advised that unfortunatelly, PDE policy cannot accept returns on an item that has been tired to install and then turn around and sell the item "as new." He suggested that I sell then plate here. He also advised that one of his employees has some AGXs for sale and he would try to give me a decent price.

Great service and assistance to PDE and Ian.

THANKS.

I never posted my alignment results...

I'm running -2.1 camber on the street. For autocross I can slam them back and achieve -3.3. Caster is in the neighborhood of +6.

Great repeatable adjustment which is why I decided to get them. Plus I get comments on them whenever the hood is open...wow, those are some hellafied camber plates, etc.

Thanks.

why don't you try...

1. yellowpages - PDE Technology Corp. - (714) 799-1704
2. contact a vendor that sells PDE products

being resourceful ftw.

just for the record, ive emailed PDE about a dozen times the past 6 months and have never gotten an email returned from them. I emailed them (to sales) a few days ago inquiring about their catback, and havent heard from them.

I found from the legacyGT forum that they were reorganizing and preparing for an early 2007 re-launch. It's pretty frustrating, but hopefully when they get all the ish taken care of they will come back with better service because their parts really are good parts.

I emailled them several times and never got a response. They sell directly, no vendor carries their products. Despite never hearing from them I took the plunge and ordered their camber plates. It took 2.5 weeks, but they did finally arrive.

I'd have to say that their customer service is HORRIBLE, but the product is good and it will arrive...

Nate, and others thanks for the response…..but I tried the obvious ways to contact PDE, I guess I should have said that in my first post. (1) through their e-mail on their web site, I e-mailed every choice they had (sales-support-customer service ect.). (2) Found their phone number and tried it but it did not work. (3) By PM message also. (4) Also called Harman and got the same phone number that did not work. I need to contact them for a warranty part on a set of plates that I have and wanted to get an authorization # to send them back or a replacement part. Anyone live a few blocks away from them and could just knock on their door or something.
