They were quite different in size of the switch and connector used. I really didnít want to fool with trying to make a harness to adapt the sti switch so I got the dremel and files out.

that cup holder is goig to suck everytime you have a starbucks grande cup youre going to be hitting it with your arm when you shift

I have a 2015 wrx base. Can I reuse my center console compartment and do this? Not sure if the center console compartment and cup holder assembly section is all one part?

You'd need to replace the entire center console compartment. The only thing you are able to reuse is the center console lid and the rear cupholders.
