Default First time buying aftermarket wheels for my 2016 STI, could use some help!

So there's 2 sets of wheels I'm looking at but not sure exactly how to find out if they would fit correctly and what size/modifications I would need?

I also have the Varis CF fenders on order so that complicates it as well, they add 8mm in width to each side. I am on stock suspension.

Here's the 2 styles, just completely lost on all the different sizes.

Check out the 15+ sti wheel fitment thread on here or the search bar. Also you can put those wheels into a google search like ze40 15+ sti and see what specs other people have ran. You will probably be a 18x9.5 +38 on the ze40's

Plenty of people have been fitting 18x9.5 and even 18x10s under the VA's with the right offset, so you'll have to look around and see what offset is working for people. Keep in mind some people may be using spacers with certain higher offsets and not mentioning it as well.

As for vendors, I can't recommend Subispeed (they carry Volk) enough.. When I ordered my Weds, they arrived with no drama in 3 just days.

I run 18x9.5 45mm offset Advan TC-4s on my 18 WRX with 265/35/18 RE71r tires and Stoptech St-40 calipers and 355mm rotors. I also have Racecomp Engineering SS1 coil overs modestly lowered at about 3/4 of an inch.

I have no poke... the outside of the wheels/tires are flush with the fenders front and rear with no rubbing. There is plenty of caliper clearance as well. The larger wheels and tires weigh 2 pounds less than the stock wheels and tires.

Those Volks look great I think

My car is a combination street and track car. Other changes include:

Corner balanced to within .5 percent with a medium alignment -1.8 camber front and -1.5 rear, 0 toe and close max caster, forget the number 6.0 maybe.

The car has great grip and balance, with slight understeer and very good stability under trail braking. I'm still tinkering with tire pressures and might go to 2.25 degree negative for my next track day
