will get some more pics going up soon. The truck and I have had a love hate type thing going on. Being summer the 2-60 air conditioning takes something to get used to.
It has been super fun to drive. the last minute pie plate hood scoop made for a couple of laughs...On the flip side, the door latch broke. Also, when the trans was rebuilt, they filled it with synthetic...I think that's good, but is super s better? maybe leave good enough alone. |

I heard through the grapevine that this car has been up and running for a while. I think it needs a T67 turbo

Up and running. It was doing doughnuts in the snow two winters ago and counting. Again she's off the road and bigger build is anticipated, after we get through a few bumps in the road. Check out this link to get caught up with that bump.

thank you!
i think on page 8. small update here. added a couple inches to the steering column. had to change column mount because the bolts did not line up anymore. here is try #1. not happy with it, working on #2. edit: here is #2. much better. edit again: installed. there are 2 tabs on the shaft. the bolt sandwiches the tabs around the bracket. The mount is also notched round to fit the column so it doesn't want to twist. Also plan to mount the column to the firewall near the grommet. also have an sti steering rack to go in. edit: added a bracket to prevent rearward flex. Done. last but not least. modified steering linkage. deleted rubber joint, extended to match column. Last edited by fan boy; 03-29-2014 at 01:03 PM. |
