Kinda curious how much weight has been added to the front of the chassis as one of these would be like a poor mans Panamera Turbo

Turbo manifolds are like 24lbs each with turbo, and the engine is around 50lbs heavier. You don't really notice the weight though. I'd bet if your tracking it only, but it's still very nimble.

Ooooof

So that is probably 100 pounds more over the front axles , Probably bumps the weight distribution to be more like an evo around 60/40 versus the GD wagon at 58/42.

That can likely be fixed with some creative suspension tricks

FYI - those caps you added are "electrolytic" types, which are all but useless for reducing electrical noise. Look for something in the tantalum "RF" range at Digikey.com, etc.

<------------Does a lot of EMC mitigation work

Just watching the tear down vid now. Have you thought about having someone help you tune it?

These ej motors are just so fragile when it comes to the tune.

hey eazy, thank you for all the inspiration and quality content. I've gone thru 2 junkyard ej25s with my 03 bugeye OBS, and was considering using a junkyard eg33 this time around for my beloved trash wagon. Would my 03 impreza obs require a new radiator, fuel pump, battery location, etc to make the eg33 work? or is it like legos?

edit; just found the mnsubaru thread, gonna be up late reading
