That happened to me a few months ago in the Providence Place Mall. Let me know if you would like a recommendation of where to get it fixed for a very fair price.

All this thread does is make me never want to drive my car anywhere. Especially to another state.

They had clear video of him stealing the fuel then walking in the direction of his house, I was told he even still had the same cloths on and he pretty much told the cops, "you can't prove it". And the cops agreed and did nothing about it.
That's pretty ****ed up. Sounds similar to the cop I dealt with Sunday morning where it was basically, "here's the police report number, tough ****, see ya!"

That sounds pretty awesome. How well does it work at night though?

How did you end up moving the car? Dollies under it onto a flatbed?

Such a lame situation but insurance should pay out pretty well for stock wheels so you can buy some cheaper aftermarket wheels to offset your deductible.

Thankfully I have a set of steelies with my winter tires on them, so I had my mom bring those up for me to put on the car to get it home. I put the rear wheels on up in the air while still on the cinder blocks, and was able to squeeze my scissor jack and my mom's scissor jack under the front jack points and we both slowly jacked each side of the front end up by hand simultaneously. Rotors were thankfully alright once we got them off the pavement. The dust shields were bent a little on the bottom, but I just bent them back.

As far as costs go to replace and fix stuff, yeah, the wheels and tires alone are going to be over $2,100 to replace. Then you have both side skirts, front bumper, rear bumper, paint on the new body work, paint blending, and labor.

I'm just using a guy close to my parent's house. I've used him before on my WRX and he does good work and is a nice guy.

There are over 2 billion Internet users in the world. Something tells me you're not "among the most hated" of these 2 billion people.

He's #7 of the entire world. Not just internet users. Barenaked General has changed his ways, moving from the #7 spot to #8. Khanh moved into #7.

Guarantee they are on a Spanish kids 02 wrx with hub adapters. They aren't being sold on Craigslist most likely. It's the same thing they are doing to all the accords and tls. Started with the Honda fits and 99 si wheels being stolen.
They all have the oem wheels looking "fresh". Look at how many 98-99ish accords have 2013 accord wheels on them.

You would have better luck driving around locally in a week or so looking so an older wrx with mismatched body parts that will have your wheels on it. Sorry man. People will say "your racist" bla bla bla but if you don't agree your naive. Fwiw I'm half Puerto Rican and very happy noone can tell by looking at me.

Why would they need hub adapters to be on an 02 WRX?

Aren't the newer wrx and sti 5x114? Or maybe wrx is still 5x100. Maybe they don't need adapters then lol.

Good to know lol. But in all seriousness I hope they do turn up somehow. 2 of my buddies including myself have been left with cars on blocks over the years. My accord was left 2 days before Christmas when my wife and I went out to finish our shopping. We found my set on an older accord and one of my friends si wheels on an 89-90 civic. I'm not going to incriminate myself on how we got our wheels back but they won't be stealing wheels again I'm sure.
I obviously hate saying "Spanish kids car" granted I'm Puerto Rican but that's the harsh reality and those are the neighborhoods you want to look in for your wheels. And handle it however you want but if you call the police they will say they bought the wheels off Craigslist and that will be it sadly. No arrests or anything.

It doesn't matter what they will say. They are still stolen goods and should be returned to rightful owner. Lazy cops really rattle my cage. They have time to idly stand on the side of the freeway looking for people going <10mph over. But looking for stolen wheels is soooooo time consuming.

First, sorry about your car.

But don't let the fancy hospital and nice hotels fool you. Just go 2 miles down Plantation St. and you hit Great Brook Valley and Lincoln Village, two not so nice areas of Worcester. Up over the hill on Belmont St. can be rough and even parts of Grafton St./Vernon Hill, which are all very close by.

I'm originally from Worcester and right before I moved, had my Accord stolen out of my driveway. Police found it stripped a week later. I can definitely feel your pain.

My guess, as others have mentioned, is someone from the hotel called their buddy or someone saw you pull in the lot.
