I'm going to have to ask where in houston, because it seems there is a meet in every section of houston because people are unwilling to travel more than 10 minutes. Also, it depends on what you mean by "meet". Do you mean stand around in a parking lot or going to a bar/restaurant and talk about anything but subarus?

There's the HHH which has been going on for 10+ years.

I'm unwilling to back out of my driveway.

I have a meet at my house every night.

food's passable, but the beer's cheap.

conversation's boring though.

then there's this:

We usually drive 30-40min to meets lol!

Our meets generally consist of parking lot standing, near an eatery, talking and admiring cars.

TXIC needs more meet threads. Many more. Let's see if we can't start so many meet threads that everyone starts getting angry at the other ones for stepping in their territory like a pack of corner boy drug dealers and starts shooting and then we won't have NINETEEN GODDAMN MEET THREADS ON THE FRONT TWO PAGES OF TXIC.

ENOUGH. GODDAMN. MEET. THREADS.

Are you advising we throw meat at people on FB? Wouldn't it work better at a meet? Just think of the electronics.

Shouldn't there be a sub section that would get them out of the anti social grumpy pants way or should we all just stay home?

I personally don't want to see people beating others with their meat.

But that's how much the central meets are worth. If you catch the right nights, hilarious conversations.

About 15-20min to the Central meets for me from UofH campus

I agree with the idea of a "Meet" sub-section. It would make TXIC much more organized

I usually make a 30ish min drive to them and have never had a bad time at the central meets.
Just be open and come out and say what's up

Because most of the meet threads have some random chat. I still think they just need their own subsection
