![]() Been a long time member here and I'd hate to keep seeing people getting scammed. Yes, prospective buyers should be wary for sure but let's not forget the big part that scammers play.
This will most likely be futile but if I can help just one person not get scammed, I'm all for it. I'm volunteering my time to update this when I see more replies in here with scammer info. List won't be in any particular order, just something that can pop up using any search engine. LIST OF SCAMMER INFO: [email protected] [email protected] Venmo: Lacey-Adams-37 last 4: 9614 Zelle: 786-299-8087 [email protected] 248-482-2806 [email protected] Zelle: [email protected] Name: Eduardo Acosta [email protected] [email protected] ORIGINAL POST: Before I get going on this - is this allowed by forum rules? I'd like to have a thread that compiles all of the scammer info that they provide. Granted it's a whack a mole type deal but at least we can have something going. I'll even volunteer to update the first thread with all the responses provided here. Any other section of NASIOC where this is more appropriate? Or higher visibility?

![]() It's a waste of time unfortunately.
The scammers are too numerous, names/emails constantly changing plus they're across the world. Just use the report button for suspicious posts and PMs so we can close the accounts, that's about all we can do. The scammer section in the classifieds was useful back in the day when there were actual forum members scamming people but it's all different now. Of course the most important thing is for everyone to use due diligence and take responsibility for not getting themselves scammed but we know how that goes. |

![]() Yeah, I completely understand it's definitely a never-ending stream of them. But I figure it wouldn't hurt anyone and if it saves someone one time, that's good enough for me.
Doesn't sound like it's violating any rules, so I'll go ahead and do it. |

![]() Thing is the scammer info you post today is worthless tomorrow, it's just like trying to block spam call #'s.

![]() I'd like to chime in here. I almost bought from someone off of here and they were pushing super hard for a deposit. I simply googled the email address and was lead to several other forums claiming they were a scammer. When in doubt, just google their info.

![]() There are scammers everywhere now unfortunately. You have to be very aware, ask questions, ask for specific photos and if it sounds too good to be true be honest with yourself. I'm sure AI will make all of this worse as time goes on. Google image search is also your friend.
Unfortunately people in general fall for the most basic scams. If you get a strange physical letter, email or phone call from a business. Don't reply to the email or call the number in the email or letter. Hang up on the person on the phone and call the business on an official number. Same with spreading misinformation. We're all guilty of it. You hear a good story from a friend that sounds very plausible and you repeat it without confirming it's accuracy. It doesn't have to be malicious. Then you find out the inaccuracies later through research or being corrected. But somehow the chain email and text with clearly questionable information still persists.
