02 WRX swap with a 16g...it's fun.
Thanks! Just moved on from my 00RS and there's a 95L and 04 WRX in the family too. We like Subaru. You will give up and throw it away before you get it done yourself...it won't happen. Another hand is a must, hopefully someone with a little skill. A friend and I did 2 sets of tails before the roof so we're starting to get a handle on the vinyl. But on the lighter colors, the black roof looks awesome. |

Do The cherry blossom red.
If you wanna takenthe easy way out get some red plastidip..it comes out a bit pink ish. As far as moving them it's really simple. Just take them off and then get some doublesided tape...trim the tape with a blade on the back of the badge amid you're good to go. Before you do it just have someone Photoshop it in the Photoshop thread I'm members gallery sticky. If you're in jersey/ny I'll be happy to help. You should also match the rest of the badges to whatever color you choose. |

We thought about going with a Big Block, like a 396 or 454 Crate from GM Performance but they are 6-10 Grand the 350 Small Block is in good shape and with a stroker kit being around 1000 we can make a good bit of power just from that. I guess I should say we aren't shooting for a true clone but rather a custom SS. We plan on doing a coilover conversion on the suspension, disc brakes, converting it to a 4 on the floor, and probably some other modernized odds and ends. Its not a numbers matching car nor is it a true SS so we are going to keep the SS look but make some modernizations to make the car enjoyable to drive.

Depending on the time I have, since I am preparing to go to college and having to work at the same time, I'll probably go the easy way and plastidip it the best I can, or if I can find the time I'll try to paint them with some heavy duty spray paint. Nice Stage 2 btw

Deleted the passenger side fog light to channel more air to my intake and put the blank panel back on the drivers side. Thinking about putting a STi sticker on the driver's side blank panel like the old school STi's. Anything to keep the intake temps down in this heat helps.
Few pics of the dirty car |
