VA seats in a GR??

I'm not sure if this has been attempted before, but I figured I'd ask the question.
Will seats from a VA(15-20) sti fit into a GR(08-14) sti?

I know that GR sedan seats will fit into a GR hatch, and based on images, the rear seats on a VA(sedan) look to be very similar in shape to a GR. The "latches" are in the same spot, the split is the same, and the release lever is in the same place on the shoulder. For the bottom, I haven't seen the brackets that hold the cushion in place. As far as the fronts go, I would just need to know if the seat brackets are compatible, and if the plugs for the occupancy sensor, and side airbags are the same.

I figure the OEM Recaros from a VA would look/feel mighty nice in a GR, and the prices from a wrecker are substantially cheaper than trying to import JDM Recaros from the GR.

So NASOIC, tell me what you know!

So, after more research, looks like I answered my own question...
Here is a seat bracket for the front seat for the GR:

and here is one for the VA:

While the brackets aren't in the same orientation in the pic, looks like the new VA just uses 4 vertical bolts, while the GR has 3 vertical bolts and one sideways/angled bolt on the rear centre. I've viewed the OEM brackets in various youtube videos to confirm that (but can't post screenshots here).

Too bad

Also the passenger seat in the GR/GV sits lower than the driver, not sure if that is the bracket.
