It makes shifting from 1-2 a pain. Thinking about getting new engine mounts and rear diff bushings to see if it makes shifting more solid.
Sadly the STI is light-years better than the WRX in that regard.

I think you'll get used to it after some time. Try driving around in intelligent mode for a while to see if that helps at all. My wife struggled for a while even in sport mode.

If you're still unhappy, maybe the Group N trans mount, diff bushing inserts and shifter bushings would help? You could also try bleeding the clutch fluid.

What bugs you on your 2019 WRX and STI?
I got a used 18 with the recaros and the Lumbar has been driving me insane. Does any one know if there is a way to REDUCE the lumbar support? Itís like being punched in the back every time I drive this thing!!!

2018 WRX STI....around 5,000KM started to get rattles in both front door cards and rear left door card. Also a little around the front dash on right side.

I installed front and rear tower bars and all the rattles went away ^__^

Hummm, not sure about light years better. I own both VA STI and WRX and while they are quite different in their own ways I can shift the WRX as smooth as my STI no problem.

As you said, just need to get use to the clutch and throttle.

If I was to make a suggestion, I'd get the AP Stage1 as it cleans up the throttle response quite a bit to the point it makes shifting a lot more consistent.

I have a 2019 STI bought brand new last year so far 16,000 miles. The only thing that annoys me is the brake - squeal when pressing the brake pedal.
