Default Any Toledo guys out there?

I was wanting to make a meet at the University of Toledo for us and get the people near Toledo together. I felt like this was a pretty good location since it is right off the highway and just off the turn pike too. Anyone interested?

Hello everyone. I was about to start up the Toledo thread again to see if anyone was out there still. I have not heard about the UT tuners on facebook, I will check it out. There are many meets going on around town. Cars and coffee...aka...donuts and douchebags, is always a good one. And the first one is this sunday at CCC.
Does anyone in the Toledo Subaru community do any auto-x or track days?

Anyways...hope to check in more and get in touch with you guys. Here are a couple updated pics of the Pure Tuning STI. We just got the new 2-ways on with the 275 hoosier meat. Car is heading to Pure next week to get the fender flares on.

I did auto-x when I had my scion tc. I plan on attending a few auto-x events this year with the wrx. I need to get some new tires before then. All I have right now is winter tires on my stock rims. That is how I bought it. Anyone have any 5x100 rims lying around?

I would like to do both auto x and track. Luckily I finally picked up a set of coilovers that are worth a poop ( Not as pretty as yours though Tcal). P.S. TCal when is your next track day? I talked to Aaron and have wanted to come watch you guys put some times down.

The first track day is April 27-28. I wont be in town, but I gave Aaron the option of driving the STI...so it might be there.

I have a set of JIC FLTa2s for sale if anyone is interested.

For sale are my JIC FLTa2 coilovers. They are for '05-'07 STI. I bought them new and have used them for 3 seasons....TRACK USE ONLY. They have never seen snow, salt, or other crappy conditons. I only do 6 events per year.
The stock springs (which are now on the coilovers) were taken off when I bought them...so they are brand new.
These coilovers were great for the track, but are more meant for aggressive street use. As you can see, the stantions are in great condition. Everything works perfect on these.
$2200 new....now yours for only $1150.00
Please PM with questions. Thanks

Coming soon Cyl will be having weekly meets for the greater Toledo area. Details when everything is put together. There will be food available and no chance of being broken up. However there will be no stupid behavior tolerated. Check the website in the future for more details. Www.caughtyalookin.com

Whats up Fun-Bobby!!!???!!!??? I like the M. Since moving out west I assume your AWD needs have diminished Aaron and I talked about doing a GTA event or NASA Nationals out west this summer, but this just isnt the summer. NASA changed the power/weight ratio in our class so we are waiting to see how things turn out. Also, I am getting married this october...so the budget is limited. Keep in touch.

Never heard of the Cyl before, but I checked out the link. Looks pretty cool

Btw...the coilovers are sold. I will post some pics soon of the Karlton flares and new set up

Spring is almost here, Toledo!

Pure started putting on my Karlton flares...they are doing such a great-detailed job!!! Instead of just cutting and bolting, they are also reinforcing. In the two pics below, you can see how they cut the fender, and are now making little verticle cuts...which they folded up and riveted last night.

They then used some rust protection and spray painted them black.

Here is a quick install of the front which will be a lot easier. I already have CF 10ml wider fenders on there...so it will be just cut and rivet.

Hey Toledo guys. I increased my tires size, so I have 4 Hoosier A6's laying around with only two track events on them. They are 245/35-18 and I will let them go for $100 for all 4. Let me know if you want them...I want to avoid shipping them

Yeah it is a pain!!! When we did it on jack stands, we put a jack on the tranny so it was pushing up and just pulled the motor, focusing on the top, out towards the front of the car and down a little.
Then did it on a lift and had if off in minutes Good luck!
