Mobil 1 Racing 0W-30
Has anyone used Mobil 1 Racing OW-30 in their STi motor? Its properties appear identical to the Mobil 1 OW-30 but there are no industry specifications listed. Also, more than double the price. Is it worth it or just hype? And yes, I know the recommended weight is 5W-30, thank you.

Not only is it a non-recommended viscosity, but "racing" oil may not have the proper API/SAE certifications and may therefore not meet the required specs for use in your car.
