**UPDATED** 3/18/11

UPDATES ON PAGE 3 FROM 9/21/10

UPDATES ON PAGE 3 FROM 6/28/10

*cliffs at bottom of page after pics*

I graduated college in may.

first: got a real job and started 2 weeks after graduation

second: getting married in Sept of this year

Third: A house, we just agreed on a price today!

here is the house!

Well after looking around for about 2 months for houses here in apex and surrouding area, and having one offer fall through after waiting on an answer from the bank on a house that is a "short sale" we settled on a price with a house that we both love! we close on it on the 29th of sept. two days after my finacee and i get back from the honeymoon.

about 45 mins south of raleigh, and about 30 mins from my work. We got a great deal and it is a really nice house. brand new, use to be the parade house for that style in the neighborhood. the neighborhood still has a lot more houses to be built in the future, but our area is pretty much done.

2,200 sq ft

Dark brazillian cherry hardwood on entire first floor, granite countertops, marble in the bathrooms, crown molding and chair railing in the dining room. Tile in the kitchen and bathrooms. smaller back yard, 15 X 15 back deck *will be getting fenced in later*. upstairs has 3 bedrooms, bonus room, and a real laudry room w/cabinets/counter. also a two car garage w/a very flat drive (one of my prerequisits for a house since my car is lowered and future ones probably will be as well)

i think that is everything

on to the pics! not the best pics but all i can get from the realty site right now

exterior

Dinning room

Fire place w/gas logs. love the trim!

Kitchen. I love the granite countertops!

View from the master bedroom into the master bath

Laundry Room

Bonus room. it is bigger than it looks in the pic

My fiancee and I are really excited about this, with it being our first home and all!

**cliffs**

i'm on my way to growing up and becoming an old man.....im only 22

That's a ****ing cool ass place, man! You SHOULD love it!

I'm 31 and just bought my own townhouse. Nowhere near as nice as that, but as I'm sure you'll attest, it's MINE and that's the best part of being a homeowner.

C/N: Congrats!

Meh, I was married at...27. But I was with the same girl since I was 22. We just celebrated 5 years married, have a similar sized home, and are both college grads with jobs.

as long as she swallows, he'll be happy for years

right, different strokes for different folks. I'd ****ing hang myself if I was with the same chick I was with at 22 (and I'd been with her for 4.5 years!) Thank baby Jebus that I waited and found my lovely lady friend that I have now. We won't be married until I'm 34 though. Oh and you can see where I live, so I rent!

Then you are on the right track. Good luck.

Great place -- I thought maybe it was Scott's Mill because it looks like something built by Preservation Homes.

Nice place! Do those garage garage doors really open the way they appear to be hinged, or are they only meant to look like that? That would drive me crazy if they opened like barn doors.

i believe that it is a preservation house. the door opens staight up, it isn't like a barn door. that would drive me insane

Sounds almost like me...except I put marriage 2.5 years after graduation/job and a house 6 months later. I love owning a house! Knowing I don't have to move again in 6 months and I can use the garage for whatever I feel like! I like having build projects to do (it's a new house, so no repairs).

Congrats!

a friend of mine found a small water leak on the house she was about to close on. they closed anyway, with a little sidenote that the previous owner had to pay to fix whatever the leak cost. turns out the entire downstairs had to be ripped out. yes its being paid for, but can you imagine the hassle?

i know its probably common sense for home buyers but just thought i would pass the story along.

and

why are there more pics of the nice house than the nice piece of ass? i dont understand?

post some of her bent over in an 'oopsie' pose

Congrats on everything. but...

Make sure you get the banker or mortgage broker everything they could ever need before leaving on your honeymoon. Also make sure they have a way to contact you or your parents while you're away. It'll turn into a nightmare should they need additional paperwork while your away and can't get a hold of you.
