Default outer cv axle boot replacement 2015 sti

Hello guys, Ive watched some videos on youtube on how to change a cv boot on subarus but I can only find videos for wrxs and they are changing the inner boot. I currently have the outer part of the cv axle out and I ripped out the boot since it was already garbage. In the videos that I've watch they say that for the outer boot there should be circlip, and once you remove it you'll be at to swap out the boot. However I am having a hard time locating the circlip.

Find a Reman Vendor in your area
$100-$150
These sort of vendors always RM axles and steering racks
You get 2 new boots and clips
Takes those guys 30mins

Hey man its been a while but have ever find a solution? ive watch a lot of youtube on how to do it but most of them removes the axle/inner boot and i think that seems a lot of work. I have the same problem, i accidentally pinch it while installing a coilover on my 2020 sti, drove it to work and check on it 3 days later and grease is all over the wheel, brakes control arms. Subaruonline sells a cv boot kit but i just wanna know if theres a better way to tackle this without removing the whole axle shaft. Pls reply asap appreciate you
