Yeah, that is NOT too expensive for this setup. Don't worry about the n00b.

I'd be all over this if I was in need of a winter setup.

GLWS.

do you live in tahoe during the winter, or do you drive these on dry roads from berkley up to tahoe? I am just wondering if they still drive normally on dry roads heading to the mountains since they have the studs.
About how many miles have you put on the tires? Are the studs very noticable? cuz i think we aren't supposed to have studded tires in CA.
I am very interested, thanks!

i drive these up on normal roads, but only put them on before the weekends we are going to tahoe. so there is minimal dry road driving. the studs really are not that noticeable on dry roads. you cant feel them at all, and you can only really hear them with the radio off, window down, and driving next to a wall where the sound can reflect off of. im not sure of local cvc's but i have never been stopped even driving right next to police.

well i guess since you already seperated tires and rims, i would probably just take the tires. So i guess shipping on that.

i would say that if i was having a really hard time getting rid of these locally then i would definitely ship. but at this point i'm going to give the local thing a try. i'll let you know if i decide to ship. thanks for the interest
