Ben, thanks for taking the time to respond to my PMs, I had my stage 2 bolt-ons done on Thursday and I'm lovin it! I happen to have gotten the GFB Respons Hybrid BOV you mentioned and it sounds EXACTLY like the vid you just posted. I love the sound!

I also love the sound of my Q300, it's not too loud like a lot of people say. Maybe I just have better tolerance, since I listened to a lot of loud music when I was young? LOL

Again, thanks for your help. I ended up with the following:

AEM Intake
Grimmspeed EBCS
Process West TMIC
GFB Respons BOV
Invidia Q300 Catless Titanium Tipped TBE (I am happy to report that I have NO BOOST CREEP, even with the OTS Stage2+AEM Map)
AEM Guages (AFR UEGO & Boost)
SMY Pod Cluster

I am THRILLED with it! Sounds awesome and there's a noticeable difference from my Protuned Stage 1 map.

Wednesday will be the Dyno Tune on a dynojet, can't wait!

I don't remember, do you have an AccessPort? I hope you're not driving around with all that untuned completely. I am glad you like the upgrades. That looks like a real solid list for anyone looking for a good set of "basic" mods to go with, I would recommend any and all of the parts listed above!

And I agree, the Forge unit is awesome in my opinion, so well made and does the job beautifully. I found that the forge unit was a bit louder than the stock BPV, although I did have a Cobb SF intake on as well. Back to stock for a while until my downpipe and tactrix cable come in (sold my AP) and I noticed the sound level of the Forge unit to drop off significantly with the stock airbox.

That GFB hybrid unit sounds good though man, and I hear ya, hard to find something that's going to be heard over the 44mm EWG :P absolute monster of a car man, good work!

All you need now is a ppg 1-4 gearset and it's time to take it to the drag strip
That would be nice. Not sure if PPG gears or a 6 speed would be the better choice. Right now I'm just hoping the "LGT" gears will handle a few passes down the strip and a season of road course fun.

Any chance you played with the Cobb 50/50 in your experiments?

Nope. Wasn't really on my list of WTB's. I'd be happy to take donations though

Congrats too! I have the N1 which the wife deems to be an unacceptable decible level for infants. Can't say I totally disagree but you have to start raising them right young!

My wife decided the Q300 was too the loud so I had to swap back to stock!

I kind of like being extra sleeper-ish though.

Yeah your car definitely is a sleeper. I had the Tsudo quad tip for a while and got bored and wanted something louder. I think that I've wanted a WRX for so long that I just want to hear the subie rumble as loud as possible. I'm sure I'll get over it soon. My new hobby is photography and that's getting expensive fast so the car mods will slow down.

My wife and I do photography on the weekends. I'm pretty sure I've spent more on photo gear than car parts but it might be getting close! Right now I kind of want to go for the quietest, fastest setup I can. I'd like to get EL headers once funding allows...

Interesting choice, I don't know if I could get rid of the rumble! I got into photography when my kids were born a few months ago. I got stuff for mostly portrait work, but obviously i need to take pics of the car too!
