Do you have the part numbers for these 2020 bezels? I keep getting the 18-19 #s when I search it.

Got some new wheels a few weeks ago. Volk ZE40 paired with Continental ExtremeContact Sports. I already posted in the Volk/Rays thread but I figured I'd post here too. The car feels great. I don't plan on doing anything to the engine for a while. I'll just leave it stock. It feels way faster now with dropping 9 lbs per corner. Alignment is -1.7 rear and -1.2 front. Stock suspension.

Washed in 90 degree heat, full sun, and my neighbors cottonwood raining down... but needed to be done.

Nice car!

Can you tell me what exhaust you have with the blue tips? Also, any droning issues?

So who all has the recaro option? Is it worth it? I have the dealership looking for a black 2020 sti with or without the recaro option for me right now and if I have the choice it would be nice to know if they are worth it! Seeing all your cars makes me excited to finally get mine!!

I've sat in a 2020 WRX with the Recaro option.. But honestly didn't feel that different than the base seats.

They're good if you don't mind the head restraints. Even in their most rearward position and regardless of height adjustment, they forced my neck to bend forward at an uncomfortable/unnatural point/angle.

This is an ergonomic flaw I've found in a number of Subaru models over the past decade or so, but it's not consistent from model to model.

The STI Recaros don't have this problem as badly as some other Subarus I've been in. But the standard non-Recaro WRX/STI head restraints don't have the problem at all.

So if you're sensitive to this particular ergonomic detail, all other things being equal, I would not recommend the Recaros. Otherwise, they're pretty good.

Alright thanks guys I kinda figured they weren’t that much different then stock but wanted to just get someones opinion that has experienced them. I might not have the option to choose but Atleast now if I do have the option to decide then I know to just save the extra money and spend it on something more cost effective like a new catback! Can’t wait to get it!

Same experience when considering the 2019 STI recaros over the base model. The seats felt (and looked, in my opinion) very similar. I couldn't find any significant difference to justify the cost of the seats. Ended up with the base model, no regerts

+1

Same for me. One of the only things that the base model didn't have that i thought i wanted was the Recaro seats. However after numerous times of seating between the 2 I actually noticed the Recaro's were less comfortable and didn't seem to benefit much over the base seats since the bottom part is exactly the same as the normal sti seats.

I still do think they look cool though. Visually i prefer them over the base seats.

Same here mine is a 2019 Base model & no regrets. The Recaro option is not worth the extra $$. Now my old 2006 EVO IX with the Recaro's were amazing and snug me in tight when taking turns.
