DSG is well regarded among their peers and fellow racers as one of the best shops in New England. Their results speak louder than your complaints.
Acejam, good luck on your search for something you're never going to find.

One of my fondest memories was a Hillclimb at Okemo and DSG was there with the whole crew. The pleasure evo and maxi 240 were some of the most popular vehicles!
thanks for welding my intake, tuning my car three times, selling me motul, and giving me a clutch alignment tool. |

I loved following DSG's work. They always had the cool stuff on display or in the shop, not to mention the almost constant stream of AWESOME rally videos and oontzy music playing in the background while they worked.
The guys are my favoritest! I really relish those days when my daily commute included passing the exit on 95 towards their shop. Many times, if I'd randomly stop in just to hang out. Which led to occasional random calls to tell me to stop by the shop because something cool was about to happen...like "disposing" of junked airbags |

Also, as a racer who drives there and back and doesnt use a trailer... I found hillclimbs to be a bit too risky. |

I'll miss the guys who put up with my many questions and didn't mind letting me in the shop & getting my hands dirty while they worked on the car.

Hell, I was a big pain in the arse and the last time I was there (like last week) they were still giving me advice on what to work on next. It was like second xmas over there. I wish I'd taken greater advantage of the atmosphere. I dig oontsy music and I could have learned a ton. BTW, Alex, if you guys land in a place where you need graphic design services please hit me up. |

just a quick weigh in here....I have owned my sti for almost 6 years and dsg has done everything on my car from the suspension to the brakes and recently a full motor build. The car makes over 400whp and runs fantastic (Just drove 60 miles round trip to fall river last night). While it is extremely disappointing that dsg is closing, i understand the complexities and difficulties of being a business owner and the problems you can run in to. Personally i appreciate all the effort and hard work that went into my car. The only question now is...where to go from here..

I think it's nice of the owners to come on here and converse with former customers to try and alleviate some confusion or misunderstandings, and defend themselves. But, honestly, I think if these people have something to say other than goodbye and well wishing, they should keep it to the company's email and phone.

I'm a big fan, sorry to see you guys calling it quits. My DSG shirt is now an investment! I've always been happy with the workmanship, pricing, and especially the tune on my limited.

Aw crap. Got in this thread late.
I had the guys at DSG do some very basic brake work on my old '02, and planned to go back to them for work on my new '12. Above and beyond best experience I ever had with a tune shop. Did they get the job done? Yup. Was it the intangible "little things" they did that would bring me back? You bet. I honestly don't remember what the little things were, but just knew that's what would have brought me back. Best wishes on future endeavors. |

What everyone said. Everyone at DSG is great! I am sorry that I am a cave man who does most of his own work (poorly) with a BFH after snarfing down a 30 pack!

Bummer Been out of the loop for a while and now I find this.
I was just looking to head there to weld an O2 sensor bung int the downpipe. Alex did it for me previously and it was quick and painless. Any recommendations for other places near Boston? |
