On a side note, is it possible to target 15.5 16 AFR in closed loop with a stock ecu? E85 of course. I'm sure this has been discussed before. Really just curious, I don't mind $tree fiddy per gallon of E here in Cali. |

No, you can't target higher than 14.7 but you can adjust the o2 sensor scaling table to trick the ECU into running leaner in CL fueling mode.

I answer this question weekly on various boards, forums, phone calls, etc. There are threads dedicated to this question.
Not trying to sound like a dick, but I get tired of typing this crap in here so often. http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2324217 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1784516 http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1702099 |

fair enough on all the threads....^ wont the second rail have a slight different (less pressure) from the first rail pulsing fuel (injectors i mean). seems like if u fed 2/4 rail first that 1/3 would have slight delay in pressure upon pressure changes?

Dom, I read all your comments in all 3 links, thank you. Does it matter in your opinion the plumbing order relative to firing order?
1-3-2-4; Easy to feed them in reverse order, or, just as easy to feed them out of order: 2-4-1-3 to keep opposite-rail pulses a little further from eachother via the bridging hose. I'm most likely going to switch over to Aeromotive topfeed rails, just want to be sure I do this all correctly. TIA. Believe it or not, most of what I understand about fueling comes from you and Tony, not from this naive notion of consensus that is so popular everywhere. So like stock, 4-2-3-1. Reverse firing order. I'm just going to assume some fuel system engineer at or contracted by Subaru fed the injectors in that order for a reason other than ease of layout and install.Thank you much Dom and others.

In my mind it makes sense. The injectors are firing closer and closer to the fuel source. I would guess that this help keep a consistent flow to the injectors, but I would have to see some sort of analysis to confirm.
Regardless, I've had zero issues with unexplained misfires with our setup in this way. |

Yeah, I probably don't need to rev it quite that high without cams though.
Yeah, it's more like 29psi on a 4th gear pull. Here's more info: Updates on my setup. I need a little bit of insight here, and I thought you it's might be able to help me out. I'm working on a friends car, it is a built 2.0l with a 35r sized turbo, 1100cc injectors, base fuel pressure set at 55psi, hardwired aero 340 pump. Basically I'm maxing out the injectors at 17psi. What is holding me back?
