2011 PBP STi 5 door
I bought this car the first week of June in 2011 and have absolutely babied it since the first day. The car has never seen snow and has only seen rain once, on August 13th of this year, lol. Been garaged the entire time and only stayed outside overnight once. I mainly drove it on a nice nights with my girl and nice days for the long drive to see my boss. It spent 90% of its time in *I mode since it was easy highway driving. This was my first new car so I have been pretty ridiculous about driving it, letting it get dirty, or even sit without a cover on it. I also have a few other vehicles and daily commute on motorcycles so it was never a problem.
It currently has 2,458 miles on it and wont go up since I probably won't be driving it again as I have already prepped it for winter storage in my shop. here is a link to some good photos my buddy took; Blue Ballin' - NASIOC Here are current ones however they were taken using a crappy phone; The odometer How the car spends most of its time... under the cover In the shop... Engine bay A pic the one day it got rained on the trunk... floor matts still unopened. The car will be sold basically stock but I will list the mods that have been done. At no point has the car had any engine performance bolt ons added or a tune. I received the car with 7 miles on it, drove 7 miles home, then put it on the lift and changed the suspension, wheels and brake pads. The stock stuff is literally brand new. Other than that I painted and cleared the tail lights and had a slight roll performed on the fenders by Richard of Dentmoto for Chicagoland people. The price is $34K firm. If you want the car as it sits a price can be negotiated. Low ballers will be ignored as I don't have to sell the car and already have a buy-back quote from a local dealership. Only partial trade I will consider would be for a Harley Davidson Knucklehead (motor, or basket case) WITH title. No aftermarket/mismatched cases, wheels, or oil pumps Things included; *Clear Bra (performed by Umbra) entire bumper, half hood, half fenders, mirrors and side skirts *Project Mu pads F/R *OEM short shifter Other parts that can be negotiated; 18x9 + 32 SSR Type F powder coated blue HKS Hipermax coilovers P&L quad tip exhaust (never installed) SPT front lip

Thanks man, I honestly I have been torn about selling the car for a few months now and think testing the waters will finally get me to let it go. I absolutely love the car and its one of my two favorite Subarus, the other being an AW '05 which I sold to get this one. Its just a shame that I'm OCD to the point where the car just sits. Needless to say its a little ridiculous when you own a car for almost 17 months in Chicago and it's never seen snow, seen rain once, parked outside overnight once, can count how many times people even sat in the rear seats and tell you who it was, etc. Its just clear if I don't sell it I'm going to end up like the old guy with the all original numbers matching muscle car at the car show 40 years later, lol... which is actually fine with me. I am just starting to think having the money in the bank and buying a winter beater while someone else enjoyed the car is better than having a pile of money under a cover on my lift for the winter. Even in the summer it wont see much duty between my Nova and motorcycles. Ehhh, I'm torn. Thanks. That's the (perfect) daily city bike. The Choppers are for longer distances. |
