In case anyone is wondering, this is how the OEM grill with chrome inserts looks plasti dipped.

BEFORE:

MID-WAY:

AFTER:

Am now currently waiting on the back emblem to finish drying.

EDIT -
Here's a pic of the back emblem. Definitely not as quality of a job as the grill, very rushed. Probably going to re-do it within the next few days and fill in those gaps/layer more coats for a stronger, more solid finish.

Forgot to take a before pic but you all know what the subie emblem looks like anyhow. (hopefully)

That looks awesome, I always found the chrome insert a bit too bling.

Thanks for sharing!
Where did you get the LEDs from, and do you have the part numbers?
I want to do the full LED swap as well, and might copy you on the lower rear reflector idea.

Did you notice any difference in light output of the fogs? At night do the tail/brake lights seem brighter?

I have added the LED reflectors to the rear bumper and wired them up with the brake lights. I have a VG Sharkfin Antenna on order, plasti-dipped the front grill, added Hella supertones with the blue powder coated surround. Plans are to add a Kartboy or Cobb short shifter. I'm leaning towards the Cobb because of it's adjust-ability. When UEL headers from rallisport racing become available, I plan on getting a set to have the boxer rumble. I need to get under the car and take some pics and measurements since it might be possible that the existing ones for the 2.5i might bolt up with little to no modifications. Rally armor mud flaps are also planned. They should be released soon. Rear roof spoiler and front lip spoiler are also planned when less expensive versions come out. Stabilizer bars and end links should carry over from the 08+ WRX. A few other dress up items like JPM Coachworks shift boot and e-brake boot, different lugnuts, license plate delete are also planned.
Which sharkfin antenna did you order? I don't see one on the site that fits the new Impreza.

Did you notice any difference in light output of the fogs? At night do the tail/brake lights seem brighter?)

I purchased the LED's off of Ebay. The front and rear turn signals are 7440. If you change those, you'll also want to consider a flasher meant for LED's. I got mine from Fast WRX http://www.fastwrx.com/coledtusibu.html. It costs $19 and prevents hyper flashing. The brake light LED's are 7443-CK. For what ever reason this is a hard bulb to find. YOu might want to check Vleds.com You can use a regular 7443 but you will have to rearrange the leads. Check out this link for a DIY: http://www.scionlife.com/forums/show...&postcount=182. There is a pretty good write up on what you need to do to get the bulbs working properly otherwise you'll keep blowing fuses. The lower fogs are H16. I found these a bit of a pain to install. They have little tabs on either side that need to be cut off so they fit properly. A really sharp blade works great. As far as brightness goes, they seem brighter but I never got the impression that the lights were proper fog lights. They seem to be more for looks.

As far as swapping out the bulbs in the headlights is best done by removing them off the car, which requires removal of the bumper. At night the brake lights are pretty bright. I'll try and get a good picture tonight and post it up.

All the other bulbs are T10. I used T10 for the reverse lights but I am not happy with the output on them so I will be switching those out for T10 Wedge CREE R5 Emitter 7W. For the DRL's I will be using their 6K white 7.5W LED DRL. The map lights in the interior are also T10. The dome light on the roof takes a 31MM festoon bulb.

The lower reflectors are easy to install and take about 30 minutes to install. The instructions that are provided are pretty straight forward, however it would appear the wiring configuration is a bit different. The instructions indicate that you if you want to run the LED reflectors as brake lights, that you need to tap into the pink wire. I found this not to be the case. Tapping into the pink wire will make them run as running lights. You'll need to tap into the green wire instead.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

I ordered the sharkfin for the 09 model. I had to have them add the color code before I placed the order though. They have two different models or the antenna and the one you need is based on the base of the antenna. You should be fine ordering the same one I did but if you are unsure wait till I get mine and I'll post pics when I get it.

I think I'm going to wait a bit and see how it goes for you, I'm interested in getting one for sure.

I watched the 2 videos on the LED bumper reflectors, they're pretty cool. How was the installation process?

Installation was pretty easy. There are two tabs behind the reflector that you need to squeeze and the reflector pops right out. The directions are pretty straight forward and the reflectors can be wired to run as brake lights, running lights or turn signals. I cannot comment on wiring them up as turn signals since I wired mine up as brake lights. The wire coloring is the same as previous models however the configuration is different. The instructions indicated to tap into the pink wire for brake lights but as it turned out, this was for the running lights. The brake light wire is the green one.

The kit comes with everything you need. You'll just need a pair of wire strippers and a crimper plus a 10mm socket to remove the tail lights.

Thanks that sounds easy enough. I'll order a set then, as running lights the leds will just stay lit and doesn't really serve any other purpose?

If you wire them up as running lights they will come on when you turn your lights on one notch. I found them to be a tad bit too bright for my liking but my original intention was to wire them up as brake lights anyway.

I leave my lights on auto so basically when the headlights come on not DRL they would come on too? I was thinking to hook them up as brake lights too.

I purchased the LED fog light bulbs off Ebay. The bulb is an H16. The bulb themselves are actually pretty bright but light projection is minimal. I got them more to match the color of the 6K HID's I have in the headlights. I plan on looking for a better solution to having functional fog lights.
