Who me? Haha, yeah, I painted them, that was an interesting day.

There is a special wheel paint you can get at your local Auto Zone (I forget what its called). You can tape off the tires (its better than making a cone of cards), sanding them down to remove the finish, then normal primer, wet-sand, primer, paint, wet-sanding, paint, etc, clear coat, etc.

Its really easy, just takes a lot of time. Oh, and do it outdoors, trust me

Yeah, had to buy a few cans to have enough. And Clearcoat will be needed as well, unless you want the matte look.

For springs check out Crucial's new ver. 2 springs. www.crucialracing.com. A little lower than Prodrive and a very smooth ride.

Thanks for the recommendations...I will definitely look into these

He's right, I did it myself. It may seem intimidating to do for some people but it is actually a very easy mod. Here is a link on how to do it:

I had the Tenzo's on my 01 Acura CL Type-S and since they were dual lug I just put them on the Subie. I'm selling them right now for $600 with the Toyo's to get 5Zigen mesh wheels.

Here's a side pic for trauma11:

FriedIceCream,

Thank you for your reply.

I guess, this 17x8 wheel and 245 tire combo shouldn't be too much to handle for 2.5i, especially acceleration-wise. Did you ever feel the car was slower after this combo?

Enjoy your car.
