04 STI EJ257 with rotated intake manifold
I'm selling my spare STI EJ257 motor I picked up about a couple years ago with the intention of putting in to my WRX, but plans have changed, and I intend on going with a different swap. Motor is a complete Long block, with a rotated intake manifold and AC compressor delete. The IC piping is significantly reduced, improving throttle response in the process. This a perfect motor for anyone looking to build it or for those looking to going to a big rotated kit for serious power and need something to get them up and running. When motor was pulled it ran, started up good, and didn't smoke. Asking $2,000 mostly due to the additional mods Killer B Oil pan, pickup, and Baffle, Perrin lightweight crank pulley, phenolic spacers, Outfront motorsports alternator relocations brackes, TGV deletes, Tomei timing belt guide, and a majority of the lines attached have AN fittings for a cleaner look. Located in South Austin, serious inquiries only and pick up will be required. PM if any questions.
UPDATE 4/13/19: I've completed a leak down test on this motor, and it appears one of the intake valves on cylinder #2 does not fully seat and leaked during the test. All other cylinders held pressure within spec (5-7psi pressure drop at 85 psi). Since I don't want or have the time to do a valve job on the motor I will further lower the price of the motor as is or willing to part out should anyone be interested in the upgraded Kiiler B oiling parts, Outfront motorsport alternator bracket, TGVs, or the reverse manifold that is already tapped for speed density setup. Motor as pictured - SOLD Engine currently:

Yes, I still have it, literally at a point of just saying screw it and getting another subaru project to throw it into if nobody buys it.
