Post Important, please read, be careful of this phsyco

I was on my way home from work and a old truck cut me off at an intersection at Meed and Bowers in Santa Clara at about 9 tonight. So I layed on my Hella Horns and he slowed down to about 20 mph. So I went around him pretty quickley because he seemed pretty pissed at me. Why? I don't know, he was the one that cut me off. Anyway as I was going by he floored it and started to purposely come into my lane as if to ram me. So I slammed on the brakes, and down shifted to a dead stop about 100 feet from a red light. Of course he could not even come close to stopping and just waited for me at the red light, swearing and looking ready to get out of his car and fight me. So I moved up slowly till the light turned green and floored it to get away from this phsyco white guy wearing a wife beater shirt. So as I was flooring it he could not catch me, I just kept slowly pulling away up till I hit 70 on Bowers so I slowed down to a reasonable speed of 40. All I wanted to do was get away from this guy and all he wanted to do was hit me or do something I did nto want. So as he was pulling up to me at 40 mph I slammed my brakes on to let him go by because who knows what this guy was thinking. Anyway I am glad I did, thank god, because he swerved in front of me to SLAM the back of his truck into the front right corner of my car. Luckily he missed and started swerving to regain control again. He did and then just stopped in the middle of the road waiting for me. I took a right down a side street and was about to call the cops if the guy was going to follow me.

Anyway the truck was about a 70 Chevy Truck, with a restored look to it, nothing fancy just has no rust on it. Here is a picture of basically what it looked like. It also has a rear dark tinted window. I basically couldn't see through it. The color of it is a mid towards darker grey, with a light sparkle to it. He was probably about 6'2", dark short hair, probably in his mid to late thirties, wearing glasses. Weighed I would say about 200-220 and was basically a guy you would see at a bar every night of his life.

Just beware this guy gets pissed off way to easily and if you do piss him off he will try to hit you in his truck. Here is a SIMILIAR looking truck.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the support. But just keep an eye out and be careful. There are some loonies out there.

If he would have hit me that would have been the third one not my fault in about 3 months. I am seriously just getting tired of it.

Thanks again,

OMFGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGG!

I swear I almost got in a fight with some guy matching exactly your description on 19th Ave. He apparently thought I flipped off is girlfriend.

He did pretty much the same **** to me as you described above.
After we stopped at a light he started screaming at me. Finally, he called me a liar; right then, I pretended to start getting out of my car and I said "you wanna do something about it??" and he started getting out of his car. Right when he got out of his car, I jumped back in mine and gunned it doing 60 on 19th Ave screaming "hahahaah f|_|ckkkkkk you!!" Given the fact that I was in my Honda ( ) I didn't want to try to 'outrun' him. In any case, I survived because I followed my first rule of fighting -- try running before fighting.

Funny, my whole life living in LA nothing like this ever happened to me. Since I have lived here almost 4 years, once in San Jose A middle aged white guys in an older american car did the same crap to me, we got out and fought on a surface street. I know really dumb but I enjoyed beating the **** out of him. Apon reflection I reallized the guys could have had any kinda weapon with him. So when it happened again in Concord this time with my wife in the car, I didn't do the same thing. I called the police and gave his license number. Don't think they did anything though. The last time was also an older white guys in a old yellow toyota truck.

Was it something I said? Both times I was coming from behind the person when they started acting crazy, so I didn't do anything to precipitate it. Maybe I look like some other damn hansom young black man that has been going around pissing of frustraighted middle aged white guys.

Wow! Thank goodness you're ok. Definitely, call the cops. Once that Turbo's installed, you won't have to worry about him catching up to you again. Who'd a thunk it. A turbo as a safety device. You should get an insurance discount!

These guys are all pissed off cuz they've forgotten how to have fun. That guy could be a poster-child for road rage! Some hick driving a pickup recently pulled out a hammer to threaten Byron in Santa Ana, but ... his hammer was useless to him!!! No doubt you can all out-drive and out-speed these wife-beaters -- so just drive hard! Glad you got away! Vickey. www.B-SpecUSA.com

Good job in staying cool Skywalker...

and I wouldn't mess with Sti Sev, I'd gun my a$$ outa there if i was piss him off. I saw the pic of you in Thailand and read your profile: "Deadly Martial Arts"

Personally, if i couldn't out run 'em or aviod conflict in any way, i'd str8 pull into a parking lot, pop the trunk and take out the aluminum bat.

But as Sti Sev already said, try to run before fighting.

Yeah, Scooby's unite!

You did everything I would've done! What an *******! Road rage is a bitch! People (including myself) can get really stupid when they get into a car! Maybe it's a sense of power or whatever. But it's stupid.

Hopefully not, but if this ever happens to anyone, try to get the lic plate # and report the ass! The guy had every intention to make you crash or crash into you. What a loser!

Glad you're okay!

last sunday i was on Grizzly peak road in the berkeley hills hititng the turns. There is part off the side where all the sport bikers, bikers, etc kick it. I thought i drove crazy, these bikers obviously have more opportunity to drive more aggressivly on a 2 lane road with hard twisties facing a good drop down to hwy 24 if you f up.

I was with my gfriend and 2 of my buddies in my WRX. I went around the sharp turn about 10mph over the limit (25). I saw this punk arse, redneck harley davidson mofo with a yellow cup (the ones that are at keg parties) walking across this tight blind road casually.

He throws a fit and yells out "slow the F__ down" and gestures with his hands to slow down. Now im thinking what a hypocrite, he tells me to slow down when all they do all day is pass cars left and right going much faster than myself.

Now this sunday was special i think it was a harley davidson meet or something, cause there were over 30 bikes and 40 plus bikers, all wearing black, banadanass, leather, and longet hair (your typical harley man).

I decided not to slow down, why should i be told what to do by a loser? I proceeded to go through the turn at the same speed, when as i was passing him i heard a loud "thump".

I did not want to slow down being 4vs30 plus. i continued to my destination about 5-8 minutes away in Albany.

At first i thought he had just slapped it, then i saw a nice 4 inch dent on the lip of my rear fender with his boot print.

I couldnt call the police becuase the cell phone had no reception, could not do anything personally because the number of people there.

This one i took up the arse. I would only liked i resolution, to ask him what gave him the right to kick my car; a personal possesion, im sure he would have been more pissed if i kicked his nice shiney harley, or better yet his nice hollow head.

Regardless, crap happens. The funny thing was if he had kicked 2 inches lower (a very good possibiltiy when a object is moving at 35mph passed you) he would have gotten his smelly foot stuck in the wheel well and dragged for 5 miles of 15-20mph twisties, lol.

he will get his, it comes around.

I just found out that paintless dent removal cant help becuase its right on the lip of the fender where its twice as thick.

To think how many times i made sure i didnt park next to an suv, or made sure i was in teh middle of the lines so i can avoid careless dents, and then for this to happen.

Unfortunately the consequences would have been worse if i had lost my temper (i use to have a short temper, its better now)i would have ran this poor loser over and i would have jepordized my life and his too.

im glad it worked out the way it did.

"Violence is not the answer, but sometimes its the last resort."

this is a part of life,

Walk away because "What goes around, comes around." There is always someone bigger, stronger, and smarter than someone else.

As for scratches on my car, hell I just got my car repainted and about a week after I picked it I got stuck behind a sand truck. GREAT, now I have little annoying scratches and dings on my car. On the upside, I don't mind racing a Thunderhill now. You get plenty of rocks thrown up racing.

Anyway my car is fine, in fact it is heading down the Subaru of Santa Cruz and Carmat this month for some painting (front lip, rear bumper and the REALTHING->P1 fogs) Off to Santa Cruz for an ACT Clutch, Exedy Flywheel, Engine and tranny Mounts, and a 30K checkup. Just to let you know it is a MY99 too.

The force is strong with this one...

I would call the cops and let them know the truck driver was pointing an hand gun alike object at me. I bet cops would sourround him in no time.

I had heard stories that people called 911 regarding road rage incidents. The cop told them to "pull over" instead of sending out units to assist the callers.

I guess if you guys mention "gun ALIKE", it should give the cops sufficient reasons to move out the donut shops.

Default The few times this has happened to me

(twice that I can recall). I smile while driving and open my glove box and look down, look at the other driver and smile. They take off FAST. U Know you're in trouble when he smiles back and opens his glovebox (or worse)!! This could be dangerous!
of course I do not carry a piece.

I had one guy dropping his pickup truck into 2nd (1st) gear at speed (70 mph) trying to get me to hit him. Not too bright that one. He took 30,000 miles off his clutch and transmission. All this because I passed him going uphill in my Rx7 headed toward Santa Cruz on 17.

Never had anyone try to run me off the road, well yes once a woman tried it in Fremont after she cut me off, wonder what her problem was. It's wild out there, be careful.

i was with my bro the other day.. and there was a dodge ram (relatively new) about a couple blocks from my house.. we stopped at a signal light.. 1 lane.. he was behind use and we were talking.. we didn't pay attention to the green light.. so we were stopped on a green.. he honked. we went. he hella tailgated us to the next light about a short block away. my bro, who drives a 2000 prelude just floored it around the left turn and jammed all the way down this long block. the truck tried to follow. we took a HARD right, my brother knowing what he was doing, jammed us into the turn at about 35-40. the truck tried to follow.. i hear hella screeching and that crazy loss of traction sound.. and we look back to see the truck swerving in like 3 different lanes..

the question is.. what the hell did WE do to make him so mad?

sometimes.. truck drivers are CRAZY!
